The pervasive integration of technology into education, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, has necessitated a shift from traditional face-to-face learning to online platforms. This transition highlights the importance of netiquette-a set of guidelines for etiquette on the internet. The systematic literature review design was performed to critically and analytically explore the findings of the previously published studies on the topic. A total of 8 peer-reviewed articles passed the inclusion criteria and were reviewed to extract data for the analysis. A PRISMA model was used to conduct the systematic literature review process. The review conducted in this study examines the extent to which these norms are understood and adhered to within higher education, particularly focusing on communication between students and professors. The research encapsulates the evolution of online communication practices and identifies the challenges and opportunities arising from the reliance on digital platforms in academic settings. By synthesizing existing literature, the study reveals gaps in knowledge and practice regarding netiquette, underscoring the necessity for more targeted research to develop effective strategies for fostering positive and productive online interactions. Ultimately, this research aims to contribute to the enhancement of communication practices in digital learning environments, thereby improving the overall quality of education delivered online.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, TikTok also proved to be useful in remote learning. The present study examines the use of TikTok videos among university students in Egypt, with a specific focus on how these videos enhance student online engagement in virtual classrooms. We also evaluate the moderating effect of gender, age, and academic major on the relationship between the adoption and educational use of TikTok and student online engagement. The results of a survey conducted among a total of 250 students at Cairo University from different age groups, gender, and majors revealed statistically significant and positive correlations between the adoption of TikTok (perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and social influence), educational use of TikTok (via facilitating access to information and sharing material), and online student engagement. The results also showed two significant moderations based on gender and age. First, we found that access to information via TikTok contributed more to the online engagement of male students as compared to their female counterparts. Second, with increasing age, sharing information and materials with the help of TikTok was found to have a greater effect on online student engagement. While it remains to be established whether these findings can be generalized to other universities and educational institutes in Egypt, the adoption and educational use of TikTok can be considered to be a promising way to facilitate online education.

Focusing on the AI-rendering techniques demonstrated in the works of Mick Mahler, with his explicit permission, we explore the balance of creative expression and automated efficiency in producing high-quality animations. The research critically evaluates the effectiveness and artistic fidelity of AI-assisted processes in animation, using Mahler's innovative methods as a case study. It proposes a novel framework for incorporating AI in animation workflows, emphasizing enhancement of the animator's creative agency. The methodology includes a qualitative analysis of animations rendered with AI, a quantitative comparison to traditional methods, and experimental application of the proposed framework in animation projects. By bridging the gap between the technical prowess of AI and the creative vision of animators, this study seeks to enrich the toolkit of digital animators, fostering a collaborative relationship between advanced technology and artistic creativity.

Scholars have pointed out the pivotal role of social media in learning due to the fact that these dynamic sites contain rich and varied communication tools that motivate learners to actively use different types of online educational resources, and to interact academically with their teachers and peers. The researchers will use the secondary data analysis to qualitatively to analyze the studies that examined the uses of social media in higher education from 2004 since the introduction of Web2.0 that allowed users to be key contributors in the virtual world till 2018. This paper aims at exploring the uses of social media among college students in learning. This includes watching demos and tutorials, using varied online learning resources, forming online learning groups with other colleagues for the purpose of completing group assignments and practical projects, seeking academic support and advice from their instructors remotely, etc. The findings of this research will suggest recommendations for higher educational institutions to effectively use and adopt social media applications in learning which will reflect positively on the quality of academic learning in colleges and universities.
