Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh latar belakang pendidikan terhadap kompetensi guru mengajar di MTs Swasta Dewantara Batu VI Kebun Balok Kecamatan Wampu Kabupaten Langkat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan instrumen penelitian berupa angket. Populasi sebanyak 56 siswa dan sampel ditetapkan seluruh siswa sejumlah 56 orang. Sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus Korelasi Product Moment dan dikonsultasikan dengan uji z. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa Latar belakang pendidikan guru berpengaruh terhadap kompetensi guru mengajar di MTs Swasta Dewantara Batu VI Kebun Balok Kecamatan Wampu Kabupaten Langkat yang dibuktikan melalui analisis korelasi product moment yang diperoleh nilai 0,59 dengan tingkat kategori sedang, dan juga analisis uji z yang diperoleh nilai zhitung 4,37 yang kemudian dikonsultasikan dengan ztabel yang diperoleh dari tabel distribusi student z dengan taraf signifikan (α) = 5 % atau 0,05 dan diketahui bahwa nilai zhitung ternyata lebih besar dari nilai ztabel yaitu 4,37 > 1,64 sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima

Abstract

This study aims to explore the strategies and methods used by MAS Al-Ishlahiyah Binjai in shaping students' morals and discipline, because there are indications of students who are less and or not disciplined in following the rules and there are still students who are late. In disciplining students, teachers have a role, so as not to hinder and disturb other students. Therefore, to find out the role of teachers in overcoming indiscipline, research is needed. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach, through participatory observation and interviews with teaching staff and students. The purpose of the study is to find out how the efforts made by teachers to provide understanding to students who are indicated as naughty or undisciplined at MAS Al Ishlahiyah Binjai, so that the results of the efforts made to shape MAS Al-Ishlahiyah students to be disciplined can be known.

Abstract

The routine Friday recitation program at MAS Al-Islahiyah Binjai as a strategy to improve students' tawakal attitude. The Madrasah stipulates regulations that the program must be followed by students as well as in an effort to motivate them. This study uses descriptive qualitative research to understand the reality of phenomena in the field (research locus) while answering the research objectives regarding the urgency of implementing a routine recitation program to improve religious understanding and noble morals, as well as to improve the advancement of science and improve students' religious understanding. The results of this study indicate that there are significant benefits in participating in the routine Friday recitation program held at MAS Al Islahiyah Binjai school to help students improve their religious attitudes (tawakkal).

Abstract

The school environment can affect the mental development and learning achievement of students. The good and bad conditions of the school environment will affect the development of students. Bullying behavior is one of the negative behaviors that often occurs in the school environment. Bullying is an aggressive action by someone to the target of bullying by attacking intentionally and without burden, done repeatedly because they consider the victim weak, easy to tease and unable to defend themselves. Bullying behavior has a serious impact on the mental development of students. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the bullying behavior that occurs in students is mostly in the form of verbal bullying. The bullying treatment received by victims of bullying causes psychological disorders, victims of bullying experience lack of self-confidence and disorders in socializing

Abstract

Belajar merupakan proses dimana penambahan pemahamana dari yang tidak tahu menjadi tahu. Dalam belajar, pengetahuan seseorang akan meningkat seiring proses pembelajarannya. Berpikir kritis juga terdapat dalam proses belajar, hal ini di karenakan apabila peserta didik dapat berpikir secara kritis, maka dapat memahami dan menyelesaiakan berbagai masalah yang ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman tentang konsep tauhid kepada peserta didik di MAS Al-Maksum Stabat. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan mewawancarai beberapa guru dan peserta didik di Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Al-Maksum Stabat. Sasaran dalam penelitian ini adalah guru mata pelajaran Aqidah Akhlak dan juga beberapa peserta didik kelas XII. Hasil-hasil yang di peroleh pada penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat meningkataknan keterampilan pemecahan masalah dan mampu membuat peserta didik berpikir kritis mengenai konsep tauhid para peserta didik. Para peserta didik antusias mengikuti pembelajaran dan menyambut penerapan model pembelajaran ini dengan sangat baik.

Abstract

Memorizing the Qur'an is an activity that has many methods, including the talqin and talaqqi methods. However, both methods are often less interesting for students. Therefore, this study aims to implement the Kauny Quantum Memory Game Method as a fun alternative for students of SMP IT Hajjah Fauziah Binjai in memorizing the Qur'an. This method involves the use of illustrations and body movements related to the verses to be memorized, so that it is expected to increase interest and effectiveness in the memorization process. This study was conducted with a research and development approach using the Hanafin and Peck models. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, and distributing questionnaires to students and teachers. The results of this study indicate that the learning media with the Kauny Quantum Memory Game Method received a very good assessment from media experts and theory experts, with a high validation percentage of 96%. The implications of this study indicate that this method is not only effective in helping students memorize the Qur'an, especially the short letters in juz 30, but can also provide a more enjoyable and interesting learning atmosphere.

Abstract

Keterampilan berbicara di depan umum merupakan salah satu kemampuan penting yang perlu dikembangkan oleh siswa untuk menunjang keberhasilannya dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan. Metode bercerita merupakan salah satu strategi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara di depan umum siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara di depan umum siswa SD Al Fityah melalui penerapan metode bercerita. Keunggulan penelitian ini dibandingkan penelitian lain yang relevan terletak pada penggunaan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), dimana peneliti langsung menerapkan metode bercerita dalam proses pembelajaran, sedangkan penelitian lain pada umumnya terbatas pada observasi dan wawancara. Pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif digunakan untuk mengeksplorasi proses pembelajaran yang interaktif dan relevan melalui bercerita. Proses pembelajaran meliputi pemilihan cerita yang tepat, penyampaian cerita dengan teknik yang menarik, dan pemberian kesempatan kepada siswa untuk menceritakan kembali di depan kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode bercerita secara signifikan meningkatkan rasa percaya diri, kelancaran berbicara, dan kemampuan menyampaikan pesan secara sistematis dan ekspresif. Selain itu, siswa menjadi lebih terampil dalam menggunakan intonasi, bahasa tubuh, dan ekspresi wajah yang merupakan unsur penting dalam berbicara di depan umum. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan diskusi untuk mengetahui dampak metode ini terhadap perkembangan siswa. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah metode bercerita terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara di depan umum siswa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi bagi guru untuk menerapkan metode ini secara berkelanjutan sebagai bagian dari strategi pembelajaran yang inovatif dan menyenangkan.Kata Kunci: Keterampilan Berbicara, Metode Bercerita, Pembelajaran, Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, Kepercayaan Diri Siswa Public speaking skills are one of the important abilities that students need to develop to support their success in various fields of life. The storytelling method is one of the effective strategies in improving students' public speaking skills. This study aims to enhance students' public speaking skills at SD Al Fityah through the application of storytelling method. The advantage of this study over other relevant studies lies in the use of the classroom action research (PTK) method, where researchers directly apply the storytelling method in the learning process, while other studies are generally limited to observations and interviews. A descriptive qualitative approach was used to explore the interactive and relevant learning process through storytelling. The learning process includes selecting appropriate stories, delivering stories with interesting techniques, and providing opportunities for students to retell in front of the class. The results showed that the storytelling method significantly improved students' confidence, speaking fluency, and ability to convey messages systematically and expressively. In addition, students became more skillful in using intonation, body language, and facial expressions, which are important elements in public speaking. Evaluation was conducted through observations, interviews, and discussions to understand the impact of this method on student development. The conclusion of this study is that the storytelling method is proven to be effective in improving students' public speaking skills. Therefore, this study provides recommendations for teachers to implement this method sustainably as part of an innovative and fun learning strategy.Keywords: Speaking Skills, Storytelling Method, Learning, Classroom Action Research, Student Self-Confidence

Abstract

Permasalahan kedisiplinan yang sering terjadi antara lain keterlambatan, ketidakhadiran, dan perilaku tidak sopan yang dapat mengganggu proses pembelajaran dan menimbulkan suasana tidak nyaman di madrasah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara fungsi pengawasan kepala madrasah dengan kedisiplinan siswa di MTs Tunas Pelita Binjai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif antara fungsi pengawasan kepala madrasah dengan kedisiplinan siswa, dengan nilai rhitung sebesar 0,779 lebih besar dari rtabel pada taraf signifikan 5% sebesar 0,3610. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah semakin baik fungsi pengawasan kepala madrasah maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat kedisiplinan siswa. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini adalah kepala madrasah perlu meningkatkan efektivitas supervisi dengan strategi yang lebih sistematis dan berkelanjutan untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih disiplin dan kondusif.Kata Kunci: Supervisi, Kepala Madrasah, Kedisiplinan Siswa, Pembelajaran The common disciplinary issues include tardiness, absenteeism, and disrespectful behaviour, which can disrupt the learning process and create an uncomfortable atmosphere in the madrasa. This study aims to analyse the relationship between the supervisory function of the madrasa principal and student discipline at MTs Tunas Pelita Binjai. This research employs a quantitative method with a correlational approach. Data collection techniques include questionnaires and documentation. The results indicate a positive relationship between the supervisory function of the madrasa principal and student discipline, with a calculated r-value of 0.779, which is greater than the table r-value) of 0.3610 at a 5% significance level. The conclusion of this study is that the better the supervisory function of the madrasa principal, the higher the level of student discipline. The recommendation from this research is that the madrasa principal should enhance the effectiveness of supervision through more systematic and sustainable strategies to create a more disciplined and conducive learning environment.Keywords: Supervision, Principal Madrasah, Student Discipline, Learning.
