Abstract

In Indonesia, corruption occurs in all state institutions, including the executive, legislative and judiciary. The division of powers that are expected to carry out their respective functions is actually used as mutually reinforcing to commit corruption. The purpose of this study is to analyze how big the corruption loophole is in Indonesia. The method used in this study uses a literature study approach from various references. The results of the study show that although various efforts have been made by the government to eradicate corruption, corruption is still rampant. The data shows that the five highest ranks of corruption by profession/position are Private with 287, Member of DPR & DPRD 257, Echelon I/II/III 213, Other 141 and Major/Regent and Deputy 115. Plus the lack of role models at the top makes employees lower levels are also entangled in the vortex of corruption. There are many loopholes for corruption in Indonesia, protection for the role of whistleblowers and proper handling are needed to create a deterrent effect for corruptors. The imposition of severe sanctions for corruptors is only life imprisonment or death penalty, so that those concerned cannot nominate again as regional heads, members of the DPR/DPRD/DPD, President and Vice President. Keywords: Corruption, Sanctions, Governance, Preventive Measures, Whistleblower

Abstract

This research aims to analyze human resource management in the digital era, with a focus on how it is moderated by the millennial generation among lecturers in the Master of Management program at Semarang University. The analysis is based on indicators such as planning, implementation, assessment, and achievement of performance within the context of digitalization, all moderated by the millennial generation. A random sampling method was employed, resulting in a sample size of 97. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS. According to the SPSS output, hypothesis 1 regarding the impact of planning on performance, hypothesis 2 regarding the impact of implementation on performance, and hypothesis 3 regarding the impact of assessment on performance all show significant effects. Hypothesis 4 indicates a strong impact of achievement on performance. The fifth hypothesis, which examines the millennial generation's influence on performance, is highly relevant. Hypothesis 6 suggests that the notable influence of the millennial generation mitigates the impact of performance planning. Hypothesis 7 posits that the effects of implementation on performance are muted by the millennial generation. Hypothesis 8 indicates that the millennial generation has a major impact on moderating the role of assessment on performance. Finally, hypothesis 9 addresses the moderating role of the millennial generation in the relationship between achievement and performance.

Abstract

Abstract This study compares the implementation of asymmetric decentralization in Indonesia and its effect on poverty alleviation. The method used in this study is a comparative case study (CCS), where the researchers compare two regions that implement an asymmetrical decentralization system: the Special Region of Yogyakarta and Papua, with different outcomes. From the data collected in the field, researchers found various challenges in implementing asymmetric decentralization, especially in poverty alleviation efforts. In the case of Papua, there are several challenges, including the effective allocation of budget and the strengthening of human resources. In contrast, in Yogyakarta, the focus of implementing legal asymmetry is enhancing culture and governance. Hence, poverty alleviation initiatives must also consider these central aspects. This research can contribute to developing development studies and public policies on poverty alleviation. The researcher provides an in-depth analysis of two exceptional cases applying asymmetrical decentralization in their activities. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to compare the best employee evaluation outcomes using the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) technique and simple additive weighting (SAW) method as a support system for best employee suggestions. The author employed four different approaches for gathering data for this study: literature studies, interviews, observation, and similar literature studies. The RAD paradigm is being used in the development of this decision support system (DSS). The unified modeling language, or UML, tool is used in this system development methodology. It's time to put the system into action after it has been designed and analyzed. The black box testing methodology will be used for the experiments. Based on the research results, it was found that this system was able to assist decision makers in providing employee assessments quickly and precisely according to the predetermined time, whereas previously managers were always late and exceeded the time limit when assessing employees. The output of this system is that it can provide direct reports to the employees being assessed to find out the results of the scores obtained and make decisions about selecting the best employees. A decision support system for employee performance assessment uses the PHP and MySQL programming languages as the database. AHP and SAW methods, rapid application development (RAD) system development methods, and system testing with black box testing.
