Abstract

Empowerment Through Functional Literacy Program So That People Understand More About The Basic Knowledge. Qualitative Research With A Sociological Approach, The Data Sources In This Study Are Primary Data Sources And Secondary Data Sources. Data Collection Methods Are By Observation, Interviews, And Documentation. Research Instruments Using Cameras, Notebooks, Cell Phones, And Interview Guides. After All The Data Is Collected, The Researcher Then Analyzes The Data With Data Reduction. Presentation Of Data (Data Display), And Drawing Conclusions (Drawing Conclusion). The Results Of This Study Indicate That The Implementation Of The Community Empowerment Process Through Functional Literacy Programs To Empower People Who Still Have Limited Basic Knowledge Or Are Illiterate, There Are Several Steps In The Implementation Of Empowerment Carried Out Including: Starting From Two Steps, Namely A.) This Program Is Divided Into Two Stages, Namely 1.) Direct Socialization Of The Functional Literacy Program Carried Out By Program Managers, 2.) Data Collection Of Prospective Learning Citizens Who Will Take Part In The Program And B.). Implementation Steps , Namely The Implementation Of Community Empowerment (Calistung Teaching Process (Read, Write, Count) To Residents Who Follow The Program). As Well As Inhibiting Factors In The Implementation Of The Functional Literacy Program At The Center For Learning Activities Of The Science Power Community, Namely: 1). Age Factor Which Causes A Decrease In The Function Of The Sense Of Sight Of Learning Residents Which Causes Them To Be Slow To Understand The Material Given By The Tutor, 2). Sight Factor 3.) Lack Of Motivation Of Citizens In Learning So That During The Process Of Receiving Learning Materials It Is Still Very Difficult For Residents To Understand The Program.

Abstract

The type of research used is qualitative research, this research uses a sociological approach, while the research instrument uses interview guides, writing tools (books and pens), and recording devices (cellphones). After everything was summarized, the researcher carried out data analysis by means of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that forms of community empowerment through the Bissampole waste bank program shine in Pallantikang sub-district, Bantaeng sub-district, Bantaeng district, namely: (1) The community empowerment stage is: (a) Awareness stage, (b) Capability transformation stage. (c) Intellectual and skills improvement stage. (2) Forms of community empowerment are: (a) Assistance in the form of three-wheeled vehicles (viars) to the waste bank management team, (b) Assistance in the form of waste scales to the waste bank management team, (c) Carrying out outreach, (d) Preparing savings books .The contribution of waste banks in community empowerment is: (1) Environmental aspects, this program can increase public awareness of the importance of maintaining the environment so that it looks clean, healthy, neat and comfortable. (2) Economic aspect, the existence of this waste bank can also generate economic value because when people deposit their waste into the waste bank, they will get money that can be used to meet their daily needs. (3) Social aspect, when customers come to the waste bank to deposit their waste, they will meet other customers, thereby creating or building interactive communication with both fellow customers and the waste bank management team.

Abstract

This research has three objectives, namely to find out the role of women's onion farming groups in empowering women, to find out the results of women's empowerment through women's onion farming groups, to find out what obstacles the women's onion farming groups face in empowering women which is carried out in Tongko Village, Baroko District, Enrekang Regency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach method which is carried out by examining a problem and then the results will be described. The approach method that researchers use is a sociological approach. Data collection was carried out using observation, interviews and documentation techniques, to prove the validity of the data, using persistence techniques in the field and triangulation of sources and methods. Data analysis in this research uses an interactive model, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that women's shallot farming groups play an important role in empowering women and as a means of increasing income from agricultural products, especially shallots, as a means of improving education and as a place to expand knowledge, through regular meetings and coaching women's farmer groups. With these activities, members will be able to increase their income and reduce their daily needs. The results of each shallot activity in Tongko Village, Baroko District, Enrekang Regency can be used by each member to meet their daily needs, especially the women.

Abstract

This study aims to: examine teachers’ perceptions of the Merdeka Curriculum; identify teachers’ understanding of its structure and implementation principles; describe the strategies applied by teachers in implementing the curriculum; and illustrate teachers’ expectations regarding the sustainability of Merdeka Curriculum implementation at the primary education level. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving teachers at the madrasah. The findings indicate that teachers hold generally positive perceptions of the Merdeka Curriculum, recognizing it as more flexible and student-centered. However, teachers’ understanding remains varied, particularly in the technical aspects of lesson planning. The strategies used include teacher collaboration, the use of local media, and contextual project-based learning. Teachers also demonstrated creativity in overcoming limited resources. Furthermore, they expressed the need for ongoing training, adequate learning facilities, and strong collaboration among schools, parents, and the government. These findings reflect teachers’ dedication to supporting the ongoing educational reform.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is How is Social Support for Broken Home Children in Community Empowerment in Onto Village, Bontomatene District, Selayar Islands Regency. From the main problem, the researcher puts forward two sub-problems as follows: 1) how is the behavior of broken home children in Onto Village, Bontomatene District, Selayar Islands Regency? and 2) what form of social support is given to broken home children in community empowerment in Onto Village, Bontomatene District, Selayar Islands Regency? This type of research is qualitative research with a sociological approach. The data sources for this study are primary data and secondary data. Furthermore, the data collection methods used are observation, interviews and documentation. Then, data processing and analysis techniques are carried out with the stages of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that the behavior of broken home children in Onto Village, Bontomatene District, Selayar Islands Regency is; 1) children become more independent, children have difficulty managing emotions, lose motivation to learn, and children become depressed and always hopeless. 2) Forms of social support given to children from broken homes include: emotional support, appreciation support, instrumental support, and informative support. The implications of this study indicate that social support from family and society plays an important role in helping children from broken homes adapt and develop positively. Therefore, attention from parents, community concern, and support from the government in the form of empowerment and mentoring programs for children from broken homes are needed.
