Abstract

Leadership in Islamic boarding schools is the leadership of caregivers or called cleric or master teachers. Leadership in developing entrepreneurship is also in the clergy. This study aims to interpret the role of cleric leadership in the development of entrepreneurship in Islamic boarding schools. This research uses a case study at the Sidogiri Islamic boarding school, Pasuruan. The unit of analysis of the research is ulama, teacher or cleric, business unit management, santri, community members of Islamic boarding school cooperatives. Data collection methods used in-depth interviews, participatory observation and content analysis of documentation. This research design uses a qualitative design with a case study model. Data analysis and data validity testing used triangulation techniques, namely source triangulation, method triangulation and time triangulation. The findings of this study indicate that Kiai's leadership plays an important role in the development of pesantren entrepreneurship. Kiai's important roles are (1) initiating, (2) facilitating, (3) mobilizing teachers, santri, and wali santi, and (4) mobilizing alumni to become investors in the pesantren business unit. Kiai also play a role in collaborating with other parties and the surrounding community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji klasterisasi industri kecil melalui pendekatan tipology klassen. Tujuan khusus penelitian ini adalah (i) Untuk memetakan jenis-jenis industri kecil apa saja yang potensial untuk dikembangkan di Kabupaten Malang (ii) Merumuskan strategi yang tepat untuk pengembangan klaster industri yang potensial di Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari BPS Kab Malang dan Disperindag Kab Malang. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis kontribusi, analisis Location Quotient dan juga tipologi klassen. Analisis Kontribusi menunjukkan Rata-rata kontribusi untuk Provinsi Jawa Timur sebesar 5,88% hasil ini tidak berbeda jauh dengan kontribusi Kabupaten Malang, dimana kontribusi terbesarnya masih tetap sama yaitu industri pengolahan sebesar 29,28%. Dilanjutkan Analisis LQ yang menunjukkan terdapat enam sektor yang memiliki nilai LQ lebih dari 1 yang artinya merupakan sektor basis dan memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan. Sektor tersebut antara lain adalah sektor pertanian, industri pengolahan, pengadaan air, konstruksi, perdagangan besar dan jasa lainnya. Sedangkan tipologi klassen dengan hasil sektor maju dan tumbuh dengan pesat berada pada sektor pertanian, industri pengolahan dan jasa lainnya. Dengan hal ini strategi pengembangan ekonomi lokal di Kabupaten Malang dapat dilakukan dengan pemberiaan fasilitas pembinaan, pengembangan SDM, bantuan peralatan dan pemasaran.

Abstract

Purpose: Research on entrepreneurial intention has been widely studied before, with the majority of research focusing on factors that drive individual intentions to become entrepreneurs. This study aims to examine and answer research questions about whether there are differences between male and female students in terms of their interest in entrepreneurship. Design/methodology/approach: The unidimensional nature and non-causality in this study are interesting things to further explore the depth of the research phenomenon. The entrepreneurial intention instrument with 7 indicators was developed in this study to capture the perceptions of students in assessing their intention in becoming entrepreneur. A total of 78 students from the faculty of economics and business were the respondents who participated in this study, with 40 males and 38 females. Findings: The results of the study reveal that of the seven indicators that reflect entrepreneurial intention, there are three indicators that show significant differences between male and female students in their interest in entrepreneurship, in which consist of (1) planning for starting a business, (2) feeling of being able to start their own business in the next few years, and (3) serious thinking about starting a business in the future. Research limitations/implications: By knowing about gender differences in perceiving intentions for entrepreneurship, relevant stakeholders can contribute to strengthening entrepreneurial values in students. Practical implications: The research findings draw attention to how this is the basis for how to encourage student interest in the Faculty of Economics and Business, especially in setting entrepreneurship as professional goal that could be chosen by students. University can accommodate it in the form of policies such as the "free campus" curriculum which allows students to explore and dig deeper about their interests and develop the capacity to become entrepreneurs and make it their main profession in the future. Abstract

As one of the brands of smartphone products, Oppo already has a good market share in the market in Indonesia and has become one of the smartphone products that are well considered and chosen by its users, including students in Islamic University. The purpose of this study was to analyze the most dominant impact between brand preference, brand image, and price on the purchase intention of Oppo Smartphones perceived by students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Islamic University of Malang. Data collection was taken over one month period, as 97 respondents are participating in this study. The data collected was processed and analyzed quantitatively to test the effect on each relationship between variables in the research model that was built. Among the three proposed hypotheses, only two were accepted and confirmed in this study. An important finding is revealed that price is not considered an important factor in Oppo Smartphone purchase intention. Thus, the price of Oppo Smartphone descriptively is the best thing perceived by respondents. Meanwhile, brand image was found to be the most important determinant of purchase intention as perceived by respondents. Discussions and opportunities for further research are presented at the end of this study.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to: (a) Know partially the influence of work ethic , work discipline and organizational commitment on employee performance Ministry of Religious Office of Batu City. (b) Knowing simultaneously the influence of work ethic, work discipline and organizational commitment on employee performance Ministry of Religious office of Batu City. This research is a descriptive research with quantitative approach. The data source of this research is the dissemination of the list of statements (questionnaires) and interviews directly to employees of the Office of the Ministry of Religious City of Batu. The data used is primary data. This analysis is done by using SPSS program. The research of this study is to determine the influence of work ethic, work discipline and organizational commitment partially and simultaneously to the performance of employees of the Office of the Ministry of Religious City of Batu. Abstract

ABSTRACTAlong with the advancement of the times and technological advances, humans arerequired to be able to have quality skills to meet a better standard of living.Therefore, if human resources can be utilized effectively and efficiently will beuseful to support sustainable economic growth. The problem now is how to createhuman resources that can produce productivity optimally, so that corporate goalsare achieved. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent of the influenceof motivation, work environment and organizational culture on employeeperformance in the BPR. Gunung Ringgit Malang.The purpose of this study is to know and analyze the influence of motivation, workenvironment and organizational culture on employee performance. Methods ofdata analysis in this study using quantitative methods with data managementtechniques using multiple regression analysis. Data were collected throughquestionnaires. Questionnaires are distributed to BPR employees. GunungRinggit Malang. Measurements are made with the likert scale 1 to 5. The resultshows that motivation and work environment have a significant effect onemployee performance, whereas organizational culture has a significant influenceon employee performance.Keywords: Motivation, Work Environment, Organizational Culture andEmployee Performance.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh label halal, citra merek dan kualitas produk terhadap keputusan pembelian Teh Racek (studi kasus pada mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Islam Malang). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Islam Malang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini  menggunakan teknik  purposive sampling  yang berjumlah 96 responden mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Islam Malang.Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan model Regresi dan Asumsi Klasik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa : (1). Uji t (Uji parsial) Variabel label halal memiliki nilai thitung sebesar 4,749 dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,000. Karena |thitung| > ttabel (4,749 > 1,985) atau sig. t < 5% (0,000 < 0,05), bahwa secara parsial variabel label halal berpengaruh signifikansi terhadap variabel keputusan pembelian, (2). Variabel citra merek memiliki nilai thitung sebesar 4,265 dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,000.karena |thitung| > ttabel (4,265 > 1,985) atau sig. t < 5% (0,000 < 0,05), bahwa secara parsial variabel citra merek berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel keputusan pembelian, (3). Variabel kualitas produk memiliki nilai thitung 2,707 dengan signifikansi sebesar 0,008. Karena |thitung| > ttabel (2,707 > 1,985) atau sig. t < 5% (0,008 < 0,05), bahwa secara parsial variabel kualitas produk berpengaruh signifikansi terhadap variabel keputusan pembelian. (4). Uji F (Uji simultan) hasil analisis yang terdapat pada tabel regresi, diperoleh nilai Fhitung  sebesar 148,509. Nilai ini lebih besar dari F tabel (148,509 > 2,699) dan nilai sig. F (0,000) lebih kecil dari α (0,05) artinya Variabel label halal, citra merek dan kualitas produk secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian.Kata Kunci : Label Halal, Citra Merek, Kualitas Produk dan Keputusan Pembelian

Abstract

Abstract This observasion provides performance improvement models and strategies for employees working at Malang City Hall to increase Staff performance. This study is aim to identify and analyze how human resources quality, expertise of work, and commitment simultaneously affect to the staff performance at Malang City Headquarters. This survey uses a quantitative survey method. The survey used a sample of 41 respondents, all of whom are officials of the Government-General of Korea. This study used the multiple linear regression method is the analytical method used in and the hypothesis test using SPSS software. The research finding are as follows: (1) Staff quality, work expertise, and commitment also have a significant effect on staff performance. (2) The quality of personnel has a positive effect on staff performance, but it is not significant. (3) Work professionalism have a significant effect on staff performance. (4) Commitment can have a significant effect on staff performance. Keywords: Human Resource Quality, Work Professionalism, Commitment, Staff Performance.

Abstract

ABSTRAKSI Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh Labat-1, Arus Kas, dan ROA dalam memprediksi Laba yang akan datang. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh predictor Laba (Labat-1), arus kas dan ROA terhadap laba yang akan datang (Labat). Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Analisis Regresi Linier Berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini bahwa Labat-1 berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Labat, hal ini dibuktikan dari nilai koefisien variabel sebesar 0,837 dan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,001. Arus Kas berpengaruh negative dansignifikan terhadap Labat, hal ini dibuktikan dari nilai koefisien variabel sebesar -0,312 dan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,029. ROA berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap Labat, hal ini dibuktikan dari nilai koefisien variabel sebesar 0,767 dan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,111.Serta nilai signifikan Fuji 0,000 < 0,05, dimana H04 diterima, yang artinya terdapat beberapa variable bebas yang memiliki kemampuan untuk menjelaskan variable terikat ( Laba yang akan datang).Kata Kunci :Labat-1, Arus Kas, ROA dan Laba Yang Akan Datang

Abstract

AbstractABSTRACTANALYSIS OF THE INFLUENCE OF ECONOMIC GROWTH ON INFLATION LEVELS AND INTEREST RATES ON CREDIT DISTRIBUTION AT GOVERNMENT BANKSThe purpose of this study was to determine whether economic growth, inflation rates, and interest rates affect the lending to government banks. The population in this study are Government Banks listed on the Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) for the period 2009 to 2016. In the selection of samples, this study uses purposive sampling method, in which as many as 4 Government Banks will be used as samples. The company's financial statements have been published so that the required data is available and can be fulfilled. Testing the data in this study using multiple regression analysis method. Based on the test results, it is known that simultaneously, economic growth, inflation rates, and interest rates have a significant effect on credit channeling at Government Banks. And partially, economic growth and inflation rates have a positive and significant effect on lending to government banks while interest rates have a negative and significant impact on lending to Government Banks listed on the Bursa Efek Indonesia in the period 2009-2016.Keywords: Credit Distribution, Economic Growth, Inflation Rate, and Interest Rate
