Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat kain sandang bermotif tradisional Indonesia hasil dari eksplorasi teknik Shibori yang berasal dari Jepang, namun di Indonesia lebih dikenal dengan nama ikat celup. Hasil pengukuran persepsi visual terhadap motif shibori (n=50) menunjukkan bahwa meskipun motif Shibori 3 merupakan motif yang paling unik (skor rata-rata= .56), namun motif Shibori 1 merupakan motif yang paling disukai responden (skor rata-rata=.26) serta memiliki tingkat minat beli yang tertinggi (skor rata-rata= .08). Preferensi responden terbangun dari rata-rata skor persepsi elemen visual Shibori 1 yang mencakup: (1) tingkat kerumitan motif (skor rata-rata=.32); (2) komposisi dinamis (skor rata-rata=.62); dan (3) kesan pembawaan yang elegan (skor rata-rata=.66). Hasil dari eksplorasi teknik Shibori yang lebih beragam ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan pada IKM celup ikat bahwa beragam motif tradisional Indonesia dapat diaplikasikan dan dikembangkan pada kain ikat celup yang selama ini hanya menampilkan motif-motif yang sederhana yang dihasilkan dari ikat celup biasa.

Abstract

ABSTRACTIn 2014 Indonesia once again held elections to vote Legislatives, President and Vice President. Generally, Legislative Election collects a better participation number compare to Presidential Elections. But in subdistrict level, East Tegal collected more votes on Presidential Election and the highest participations rate (2,47%) among other subdisctrict. It is really the contrary of Margadana that have the biggest slump participation rate (5,08%) In Tegal on Presidential Election.  This study aim is to analyse the voters political participation difference tendencies and  the determine factors that affect the voters political participation on Legislative Elections and Presidential Elections in East Tegal and Margadana based on the external factors (structural and figures candidate) and internal factors (sociological, psychological, and rational choice). This study uses survey methode by distributing questionnaires to the respondents. The targets in this study are 40 voters in East Tegal and 40 voters in Margadana that selected by using cluster random sampling.The results shows there is significant difference of psychological factor on Legislative Election. The majority respondents in East Tegal tend to choose candidates while the majority respondents in Margadana tend to choose the supporting party of candidates. Whereas there is no found any difference factors that affect voter turnout in both district over Presidential Elections. In general the technical problems causes of non-voting behaviour either on Legislatif or Presidential elections in East Tegal and Margadana. The flurry of activities, unreacheable polling station from the workplace, or temporary move in tto he other city for work / study and the difficulties of changing polling station rules are the reason voters did not vote.  The advice can be given to General Elections Commission(KPU) of Tegal as election organizers are expected to increase more thorough and equitable dissemination to the public, especially regarding technical at the election so as to facilitate voters in participating, especially for voters who spend more time outside the city. In addition, the Commission can strengthen the good relations to other government agencies that assist the implementation of the election, NGOs, community leaders, or volunteer in providing political education to the community. Expected with increasing political knowledge society they will be more aware of the importance of their participation in the election.Keywords: Political participation influence factors, Legislative Elections, Presidential Elections.

Abstract

Good ride performance is one of the most important key attributes of a passenger vehicle. One of the methods to achieve this is by using Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). This is because a CVT can provide an almost infinite ratio within its limits smoothly and continuously. The flexibility of a CVT allows the driving shaft to maintain a constant angular velocity over a range of output velocities. New developments in gear reduction and manufacturing have led to ever more robust CVTs, allowing them to be applied in more diverse automotive applications. As CVT development continues, costs will be reduced further, and the performance will continue to improve, making further development and application of the CVT technology desirable. This cycle of improvement will offer CVT a solid foundation in the world's automotive infrastructure. This paper aims to provide some background and relevant information that is necessary for this study. Specifically, a brief description of CVT, advantages and their brief history is presented. This paper also evaluates the current state of CVT, investigate the technology frontline of drivetrain control and the development of CVT. The stepless transmission is able to maintain the engine running at its maximum power.

Abstract

Paragraph consists of sentences which has main idea. In this research, it applied the genetic algorithm to recognize a paragraph. It has several steps to do it, firstly on the alphabet forms word, then sentence, and finally paragraph. The process start from typing the paragraph and then the genetic algorithm will identify the paragraph accordingly by stages which are initial population, selection, crossover and mutation. Genetic algorithm is heuristic searching algorithm which based on nature selection of mechanism and nature genetics. Paragraph is a set of words or other characters with one or more languages are written especially if arranged in a customary order. The final result of this research is that showing the exact paragraph that is targeted.

Abstract

Pencahayaan alami adalah sumber energi yang sangat dibutuhkan dalam memenuhi penerangan pada bangunan, khususnya di sekolah. Sekolah sebagai sarana pada kegiatan belajar dan mengajar sangat membutuhkan pencahayaan alami, Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh desain bukaan terhadap pencahayaan alami dan intensitasnya terhadap ruang berdasarkan SNI-2001. Ruang belajar di SMA Negeri 1 Dolok Batu Nanggar, Sumatera Utara memiliki beberapa bukaan dengan ukuran dan orientasi berbeda. Perbedaan tersebut sangat signifikan baik dari segi ukuran, bentuk, posisi dan orientasi di setiap ruang. Hal inilah yang menjadi latar belakang untuk meneliti terkait pengaruh bukaan terhadap pencahayaan alami pada ruang belajar. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode penelitian dalam pengukuran intensitas cahaya  dan luas bukaan dilakukan saat kondisi langit cerah dan mendung mulai pukul 08.00 WIB hingga 15.00 WIB. Populasi pada penelitian ini, berjumlah 32 ruang belajar di SMA Negeri 1 Dolok Batu Naggar. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 9 ruang belajar. Pengaruh bukaan terlihat dari intensitas pencahayaan alami dan WWR. WWR memenuhi standarisasi pencahayaan ruang belajar sebesar 20% di kondisi langit cerah; WWR 14%-18% memenuhi standar pencahayaan pada pukul 11.00-15.00 WIB dan WWR dibawah 14% tidak memenuhi standar pencahayaan mulai pukul 08.00-15.00 WIB. Intensitas  pencahayaan  alami di kondisi  langit  mendung  tidak  memenuhi standar pada seluruh sampel. Penelitian ini menemukan pengaruh bukaan terhadap intensitas pencahayaan alami sangat berperan dan didukung oleh wwr. sehingga standar pencahayaan alami yang terpenuhi hanya berada pada sampel 1, 3 dan 9.

Abstract

Planning area of maritime tourism in Peucang Island, Ujung Kulon National Park, Banten. Designed with the aim of developing tourism in the surrounding area and providing opportunities for people living around the Ujung Kulon National Park, to increase economic income through tourism development. In tourism development activities, the community does not only play a role as beneficiaries, but must be able to become actors who encourage the success of tourism development on Peucang Island. The use of the tropical concept on the building because the location was in the beach area, so that buildings must be adapting to the environment having tropical climate. The applications of the concept of tropical on the building of the use of existing natural material around the location to make the building look in harmony with the surrounding environment

Abstract

College is a university which organizes academic education and can also organize vocational education within a certain group of Sciences and Technology and if it meets the requirements, a high school can certainly also hold professional education. Higher education is a continuation of secondary education held to prepare students to become members of the community who have academic and professional abilities that can apply, develop and create science, technology and arts (Law 2 of 1989, article 16, paragraph (1)). In the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, it was mentioned that related to the implementation of three main things namely teaching, research and community service. High school that includes learning about the science of Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics in order to realize students who have human resources in the field of meteorology who are competitively competitive and provide added value through education and training. Disseminating knowledge in the field of climatology and striving for applications to improve the welfare of society and enrich national culture. Able to observe geophysical elements. has competence according to the department. Green building is a green building with building plans to make life better and meet the needs of the next generation. Especially those related to nature conservation, health, and also social. Green building can be interpreted as sustainable, earthfriendly (environmentally friendly), and high performance building (buildings with very good performance). Green architecture optimizes part of its land for green space, green building is a re-interpretation of the socio-cultural community to nature and shelter life. With the application of green architecture in the design of climatology and geophysics meteorology high schools in the city of Tangerang, it is expected to be known by the community inside and outside the region for the realization of buildings that can provide a place for prospective cadets who are competent in their fields and to explore air quality and power. And also the surrounding community who want to learn about meteorology, climatology, geophysics. As well as having a high appeal because of the realization of a green building.

Ampel Market is one of the largest markets in Boyolali Regency. In 2004, the Ampel Market experienced a fire so that the market conditions until now have been irregular in the distribution of zoning, insufficient ventilation and natural lighting in buildings. The design of this Ampel Market will be upgraded to the Ampel Type A People's Market which is suitable for the area of ​​land, the number of traders and the location of the Ampel market. Tropical architecture is a type of style or concept in architectural design which is an answer and a form of adaptation of buildings to climatic conditions in a tropical area.
