Abstract

This study aimed to develop a survey instrument to measure student attitudes towards mathematics teaching-learning processes that is appropriate for the Indonesian context. This study consisted of two phases: Phase 1 (n=320) was a pilot study to assess the suitability of the instrument items for Indonesian students. Phase 2 (n=1001) was conducted to examine the construct validity of the instrument. The data collected from Phase 1 were analysed using descriptive statistics (i.e., frequency counts, simple correlation, and one-way ANOVA for item analysis). Factor analysis was utilised to select items and for scale construction. The result of the screening process (44 items) was piloted to assess its reliability and validity. The instrument, consisting of 22 items, is a reliable and valid rating scale that measures three distinct factors: Teacher Presentation, Mathematics Interest, and Mathematics Value. The data from Phase 2 were analysed by employing confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and the results confirmed that the three factors identified in the previous factor analysis underlie the student attitudes instrument.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.22342/jme.9.1.4193.1-14

Abstract

This study discusses how Pyisical Education Teachers Educator (PETE) adopt Physical Literacy (PL). Knowledge is the foundation of PL to know what to do and when is the right time to do it. The research has a goal, so that PETE understands the definition of PL. This research study contains 3 stages, the first is determining the objectives of the PL, the second is curriculum planning and the third is the learning approach. The method used is a literature review of several opinions about PL in Physical Education (PE). The national PE curriculum is structured and developed to achieve national education goals that are adapted to current conditions and future needs in order to live regularly and actively, through Physical Activity (PA). For this reason, efforts should be made to create a healthy lifestyle and maintain physical fitness (PF). PL is a potential that can be optimally developed for children from an early age. The role of PE is very important in the formation of PL in children, where cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects are in the goal of PE which can provide motivation, confidence and enthusiasm to continue doing PA.

Abstract

Level kondisi kebugaran jasmani siswa di Indonesia masih dalam nilai rendah dimana sedikit kontribusi yang didapatkan dari mata pelajaran penjas di sekolah. Implementasi pembentukan karakter juga perlu dimunculkan dalam pendidikan jasmani. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan survei tentang level kebugaran jasmani, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kebugaran jasmani pada anak-anak. Subjek yang diteliti adalah anak Sekolah Menengah Pertama di Kabupaten Sidoarjo yang berusia 13-14 tahun. Hasil penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan persentasi dapat diketahui sebagai berikut: tingkat kesegaran jasmani pada siswa putra kelas VII adalah sebesar 57,14 % yaitu berada pada katagori sedang, kemudian pada siswa putri kelas VII sebesar 53,85 % yang mana masuk pada level kategori sedang. Naik ke tingkat siswa putra kelas VIII persentase paling besar yaitu 57,14 % pada katagori baik. Pada siswa putri kelas VIII persentase paling besar yaitu 70 % pada katagori sedang. Tingkat kesegaran jasmani pada siswa putra kelas IX jumlah persentase paling besar yaitu 50 % pada katagori sedang. Pada siswa putri kelas IX persentase paling besar yaitu 66,67 % pada katagori sedang. Kesimpulan bahwa tingkat kesegaran jasmani siswa kelas VII, VIII dan IX SMP di Kabupaten Sidoarjo rata-rata dalam katagori sedang, hal ini juga dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor meliputi faktor gizi, pola istirahat, kebiasaan hidup sehat, pengaruh gadget, dan faktor lingkungan.

Abstract

This research investigates the understanding and challenges of implementing Olympic Values—Excellence, Friendship, and Respect—in Indonesia's sports education. While the International Olympic Committee (IOC) promotes these values to foster ethical behavior among athletes, their integration into Indonesian universities faces significant obstacles due to limited awareness and institutional support. Utilizing a quantitative descriptive approach, data were collected from 178 respondents, including students and lecturers, who had not participated in the ASEAN University Games (AUG). Results indicated that 67% of respondents demonstrated a good understanding of Olympic Values, with 41% emphasizing their importance in daily life and sports. Social media (45%) was identified as the primary source of information. However, challenges persist, such as a lack of awareness (28.1%), insufficient curriculum integration (16.9%), and inadequate resources (14%). The study concludes that while awareness of Olympic Values exists, significant efforts are required to enhance their practical application. Recommendations include increasing institutional support, revising curricula, and improving resource allocation to better incorporate Olympic Values in Indonesian sports education.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the role of positive pedagogy in physical education during the COVID-19 pandemic.This study aims to provide a comprehensive synthesisinformatio of relevant studies voncerningabout the role of positive pedagogy in physical education during the covid 19 pandemic. This study uses a literature review method by  adopting the Preferred Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta Analyses: PRISMA as a using comprehensive strategy focusing relevant such as  such as articles in the research database. The databases used are Pubmed / MEDLINE, Scopus, Web of Science, and Embase. The keywords used in the search were pedagogy, motor skills, sports, positive pedagogy, and children. There were 20 articles obtained, and 5 selected articles were analyzed through the objectives, topics, sample size, research protocol, and results of each article. The results of this study explain that positive pedagogy that includes a holistic perspective can produce fun learning and the formation of movement competencies and students become better The results of this study explain that positive pedagogy increases motivation, directs development, forms self-efficacy, increases social responsibility, suppresses bullying behavior, and can improve psychomotor and cognitive aspects. It is hoped that teachers can apply positive pedagogy that includes a holistic perspective so that it can produce fun learning and the formation of movement competence and knowledge of students for the better.

Abstract

Audit internal (IA) dianggap sebagai alat penting untuk mengendalikan tata kelola dan operasi organisasi. Audit internal memberikan jaminan dengan menilai dan melaporkan efektivitas tata kelola, manajemen risiko, dan proses pengendalian yang dirancang untuk membantu organisasi mencapai tujuan strategis, operasional, keuangan, dan kepatuhan. Pentingnya fungsi dan peranan Internal Audit ini juga disadari oleh Dinas Kominfo Kota Mojokerto. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Aplikasi Audit Sarana dan Prasarana pada Dinas Kominfo Kota Mojokerto. Model pengembangan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah model prosedural yang mengadaptasi pada model R&D Borg dan Gall, modifikasi dari Sukmanata, dan adaptasi dari McKenny, meliputi tahapan (1) Studi pendahuluan, (2) Pengembangan, dan (3) Pengujian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Aplikasi Audit Sarana dan Prasarana ini mencapai presentase rata – rata di atas 80% pada masing – masing kategori, yaitu 90% untuk kategori functional; 95% untuk kategori design; 88% untuk kategori ease of use; dan 90% untuk kategori suitability of needs. Hasil uji coba tersebut dapat juga diartikan bahwa Aplikasi Audit Sarana dan Prasarana Dinas Kominfo Kota Mojokerto telah dikembangkan secara maksimal pada masing – masing kategorinya dan siap untuk diimplementasikan.
