New translation needed from Portuguese for TV Brasília article
[edit]The TV Brasília article was translated from pt:TV Brasília (the corresponding article on the Portuguese Wikipedia) when it was almost entirely unsourced. Since then, editors have added tens of citations to pt:TV Brasília, and a new translation to English is needed. Please see Talk:TV Brasília § Needs new translation from Portuguese before copyediting for details. Thank you. — Newslinger talk 02:59, 17 January 2026 (UTC)

The article Church of Reis Magos has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Tagged as Unreferenced for 14 years, and for notability concerns for 7 months. No other language has a reliably sourced article from which to translate. A Google search in English found only similarly named churches in Goa, Bardez, and Panjim. Fails the relevant notability guidelines.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion based on established criteria.
If the proposed deletion has already been carried out, you may request undeletion of the article at any time. Bearian (talk) 01:07, 16 February 2026 (UTC)

Request for review – Draft:Central Hospitals Capacity Response Improvement Project (Brazil–Angola health cooperation)
[edit]Hello, WikiProject Brazil members.
I have submitted a draft article about the Central Hospitals Capacity Response Improvement Project (PMCRHC), a Brazil–Angola health cooperation program carried out between 2007 and 2009. The program was developed by Angola's Ministry of Health (MINSA) and implemented with the participation of Brazilian institutions such as the Faculdade de Medicina do ABC and the Hospital das Clínicas of the University of São Paulo Medical School, with the objective of training Angolan physicians in Luanda's central hospitals to reduce the need for medical evacuations abroad.
The draft has been written in English and resubmitted to Articles for Creation (AfC) after an initial decline due to the original submission being in Portuguese. Given the article's strong relevance to Brazil–Angola bilateral relations and Brazilian medical cooperation, I would appreciate if any interested member of this WikiProject could review it or offer feedback.
Draft link: Draft:Central Hospitals Capacity Response Improvement Project
Disclosure: I have declared a conflict of interest on my user page, as I was involved in the coordination of this program. I am following Wikipedia's guidelines for COI editors by going through the AfC process and seeking independent review.
Thank you for your time. Fabiovieiramd (talk) Fabiovieiramd (talk) 20:40, 4 April 2026 (UTC)
- Hi Fabio, thank you for creating the draft. What is the name of the program in Portuguese? I couldn't find "Central Hospitals Capacity Response Improvement Project" or "PMCRHC" in the links that are referenced in the draft article. BaduFerreira (talk) 01:55, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
- Hi BaduFerreira, thank you for the quick review and the careful question.
- The full name of the program in Portuguese is "Projeto de Melhoria da Capacidade de Resposta dos Hospitais Nacionais". This name appears in a published article in the CREMESP journal https://www.cremesp.org.br/?siteAcao=Revista&id=386, in the first paragraph below the title "À distância de um oceano", authored by Antonio Carlos Madeira de Arruda, which describes the program's coordination in Luanda's central hospitals. I will add this source explicitly to the draft to make the Portuguese name clearly verifiable.
- Regarding the acronym PMCRHC: in Angola, the main national hospitals in Luanda were commonly referred to as "Hospitais Centrais" (Central Hospitals) in everyday institutional use, which is why the acronym uses "C" rather than "N". The English translation "Central Hospitals Capacity Response Improvement Project" reflects this established local usage rather than a word-for-word rendering of the formal Portuguese title. I can add a clarifying note about this in the draft article if that would help.
- Thank you again for your time and diligence. Fabiovieiramd (talk) 00:23, 7 April 2026 (UTC)
- I've gone ahead and made some edits to the draft. I've moved it to the proper name in Portuguese as we should use official names when possible (even if they're in other languages). I think the draft still needs work but it's a good start. BaduFerreira (talk) 03:02, 14 April 2026 (UTC)
Project members are invited to participate in the Destubathon of the Americas, a contest/editathon which will run from May 1 to May 31. The goal is to destub as many of our 475,000+ stubs for the Americas (from Alaska down to Chile) as possible. A good chance to have fun in expanding many of our old stale stubs and win up to $2680 in Amazon vouchers for expanding stub articles. Sign up in the Contestants/participants section on the contest page if interested. Even if not interested in prizes you are still warmly welcome to participate in it as an editathon! Hopefully we can achieve something significant in the month of May together! ♦ Dr. Blofeld 17:16, 14 April 2026 (UTC)
