The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture held its first Black Life Matters Wikipedia Edit-a-thon on Saturday February 7 2015, to contribute to articles on Wikipedia for the national Black WikiHistory Month outreach campaign.

The Wikipedia training and Edit-a-thon took place in the Aaron Douglas Reading Room of the Jean Blackwell Hutson Research and Reference Division with a following reception in the Langston Hughes lobby on the first floor of the building.

The Wikipedia training and editathon will take place in the Aaron Douglas Reading Room of the Jean Blackwell Hutson Research and Reference Division, with a reception following in the Langston Hughes lobby on the first floor of the building at 5:00pm.
