Dangun → Tan'gun – Per WP:COMMONNAME and WP:KOREANNAME step 1 (and step 3). In academic sources, "Tan'gun" is the predominant spelling because it aligns with McCune–Reischauer, which is the predominant romanization used in Korean history books. "Dangun" is the Revised Romanization of Korean spelling. Note that Ngrams is not reliable here because spelling collisions with other topics.

I've been collecting stats about the practices of Korean studies books in this page. For comprehensive histories of Korea that would cover Dangun/Tan'gun, MR is dominant.
