Insistence on "wrong attributions"

I find it weird how this article keeps reiterating how FC Porto was not involved at all in this cup, while only managing to cite 1 (one) source, which is a WordPress blog that calls itself a "collective opinion blog". The mentioned article says at some point near the end that "some people may disagree". It reads as a promotion of a book that doesn't exist (yet). In addition to most sources mentioned in this Wikipedia page pointing out how it was considered at the time that the match was played by a team called "Foot-Ball Club do Porto", even though it was a mix of players from different clubs, one of them, an Abola article, even talks about Alfred Kendall, who is presented here as someone who played in this match, as an important player of Foot-Ball Club do Porto in its inaugural games in October of 1893.

This Wikipedia article also says "Some sources state, incorrectly, that the Lisbon team was a mix of..." but the only source it cites only affirms the fact that comes after "incorrectly", which reads as an adverb added by someone who actually had no sources that could challenge said fact.
