Στο παρόν άρθρο θα αναλυθεί η πορεία του ΠΑΣΟΚ στην περίοδο από το 2012 έως το 2020 και η προσαρμ... more Στο παρόν άρθρο θα αναλυθεί η πορεία του ΠΑΣΟΚ στην περίοδο από το 2012 έως το 2020 και η προσαρμογή του στη «μετα-ηγεμονική» του φάση. Ο ηγεμονικός ρόλος του κατοχυρωνόταν σε μια πολιτική παράδοση με τρεις διαστάσεις - οργανωτική, ιδεολογική, στρατηγική. Μετά το 2012 το κόμμα επέλεξε μια τροχιά προσαρμογής στο νέο πλαίσιο, η οποία οργανώθηκε ως μια τριπλή ρήξη του ΠΑΣΟΚ με την πολιτική του παράδοση. Αυτή η μεταβολή θα εξηγηθεί με βάση τρεις ανεξάρτητες μεταβλητές: την παράμετρο των Μνημονίων και των όρων εφαρμογής τους, τη θέση του ΠΑΣΟΚ στον κομματικό ανταγωνισμό μετά το 2012 και την κρατικοποίηση του κόμματος.

Τις τελευταίες δύο δεκαετίες έχουν καταγραφεί μία σειρά από μετασχηματισμοί στο επίπεδο των κομμα... more Τις τελευταίες δύο δεκαετίες έχουν καταγραφεί μία σειρά από μετασχηματισμοί στο επίπεδο των κομματικών οργανώσεων, οι οποίοι έχουν ερμηνευθεί ως ‘εκδημοκρατισμός’ ή ως ‘συγκεντροποίηση’ της εσωκομματικής πολιτικής. Το ΠΑΣΟΚ είναι ο βασικός εισηγητής των συγκεκριμένων αλλαγών στο ελληνικό κομματικό σύστημα και το ‘συμμετοχικό’ εγχείρημα της περιόδου 2004-2009 μια φιλόδοξη προσπάθεια προώθησης ενός διαφορετικού μοντέλου κομματικής οργάνωσης. Στο άρθρο αυτό θα μελετηθούν οι οργανωτικές καινοτομίες της περιόδου, υπό το αναλυτικό πλαίσιο των ‘τριών οργανωτικών διαστάσεων’ της Scarrow (1996) και της θεωρίας του ‘κόμματος καρτέλ’ των Katz & Mair (1995). The purpose of the proposed paper is to examine the transformation of PASOK’s organizational stru... more The purpose of the proposed paper is to examine the transformation of PASOK’s organizational structure under the leadership of G. Papandreou. First we shall describe the main characteristics of the so-called “participatory project” emphasizing in the relationship between the leader, the parliamentary group and the party activists and members, the role of the party’s collective bodies in shaping PASOK’s policy agenda, candidate selection procedures and the effort to establish an “open party” based on “cyber membership”. Second we will examine PASOK’s first year in government, mainly at the level of the party’s adaptation to the new governmental needs. Purpose -This paper aims to identify the relationship between efficiency and profitability by usi... more Purpose -This paper aims to identify the relationship between efficiency and profitability by using data from Greek meat processing companies over the period 1994-2007. Design/methodology/approach -The relationship of efficiency and profitability is studied, by applying a new performance decomposition model. This method is capable of making valid and consistent inferences about the performance of a two-stage production system, as well as the main sources of inefficiencies within a company. Findings -A poor performance over the study period is observed in the sample companies. The low performance is mainly due to the low profitability. The results do not confirm the existence of a positive strong correlation between efficiency and profitability. The companies that have the capability of producing their products with the best practices are not always capable of generating the maximum profits. Practical implications -The need for the improvement of performance has two aspects: first, it is a demand for the effective use of resources, and simultaneously, it is an urgent requirement for the generation of profits. According to the study findings, the long-term survival of firms in our sample seems to require adopting mainly profitability-enhancing strategies. Originality/value -This paper provides one of the first evaluations of performance focusing on efficiency and profitability, by applying an innovative performance decomposition approach that has not yet been applied in Greek industries.

Σε αυτό το πλαίσιο, η στρατηγική του κράτους καθορίζει το περιεχόμενο του ‘συμμετοχικού’ εγχειρήματος και καθιστά το ΠΑΣΟΚ ‘πειραματικό σωλήνα’ για τις μετέπειτα κυβερνητικές πρακτικές.

Η εξέλιξη της ευρωπαϊκής σοσιαλδημοκρατίας δεν αποτελεί μια γραμμική διαδικασία, αλλά είναι το αποτέλεσμα εξελίξεων που πραγματοποιούνται στο επίπεδο του τρόπου παραγωγής, στο επίπεδο του κράτους, αλλά και στο επίπεδο της ιδεολογίας και της οργανωτικής δομής των κομμάτων
