Organizational socialization is assumed to be a vitally important influence on job satisfaction, organizational commitment, innovation, cooperation, and ultimately organizational performance. There is a fundamental assumption underlying virtually all existing work on organizational socialization that all newcomers will remain with an organization for some time. The research presented here begins to relax some of the assumptions underlying current models of socialization where the organization and the new recruit are going concerns. Accordingly, this research is trying to investigate the impact of organizational supported socialization tactics on turn over intentions of new comers working in telecommunication industry of Pakistan. Moreover, this report will also examine the mediating role of job embeddedness (on-the-job embeddedness and off-the-job embeddedness) in the relationships of organizational supported socialization tactics and turnover intentions. To explore the study's objectives, data collected from 300 employees working in five different telecommunication companies of Pakistan. Findings here suggest that workers are quite distinct in how long they expect to stay with a firm, regardless of their explicit labor contract, and that this variance in anticipated tenure does make a difference in the extent to which these newcomers learn and adapt to their organizations, their jobs, and their social environments, and in the outcomes they experience. This research provides clear empirical support that how long newcomers expect to maintain a relationship with their new organizations has a profound impact on their socialization experiences, and explores the nuances of the impact of this anticipated tenure alone and in interaction with other factors on the socialization process and its outcomes.

The current study was carried out to clear the role of Human resource management (HRM) practices on project success in project oriented organizations of southern Punjab, Pakistan. To investigate the importance of HRM practices Employees' recruitment & selection (R&S), Employees' performance & appraisal (P&A) and Employees' training & development (T&D) were taken as predictor variable whereas project success was taken as criterion variable. The data was gathered through self-administered questionnaire and cluster sampling was utilized. A collection of 270 survey questionnaires were distributed among the employees of project oriented organization of southern Punjab, Pakistan. A total of 212 fully filled and valid survey forms had been retrieved. The gathered data was sent to SPSS for statistical tests. Firstly, the data was checked for its reliability using cronbachs' Alpha and all the variables were found to have excellent value of reliability i.e. 0.7 and above. Secondly, we checked the correlation among three predictor variables and criterion variable project success, and the outcomes depict strong and noteworthy correlation among the said variables. Lastly, to check the hypotheses, we applied multiple regression analysis and the output revealed that two out of three HRM practices i.e. employees' R&S and employees' P&A had significant influence on the success of project while employees' T&D had insignificant effect in project oriented organizations of southern Punjab, Pakistan. The results of the current research will help the management of project oriented organizations to invest their stake more on employees' (P&A as well as R&S) and improve the criteria of employees' T&D to enhance their skill in order to achieve maximum success rate in Pakistan.

This research was accomplished to explore the effect of different factors of work-life balance on employees' job satisfaction. Sargodha being revenue generating city in terms of exporting citrus (fruit) deals with banks for large payments. This research is to clarify the relationship between job satisfaction and work life balance factors in banking sectors. There were about 120 questionnaires circulated among the employees of banking sectors. Out of which 88%) questionnaires were returned. The data analysis was done by using SPSS and multiple regression analysis was performed to find out the impact rate of different factors. All the variables discussed in this study results in positive relationship with job satisfaction of employees. In null hypothesis all variables were same as derived except job stress and intention to leave. In derived results job stress and employees' intention to leave job shows positive relation with employee job satisfaction. The reasons found are the improper voice mechanism and improper distribution of work load among employees. This research can be helpful in analyzing the issue of work life balance in banking sectors in other cities and would enable to conduct different programs /seminars to resolve or minimize this issue in Pakistan as well as in abroad.

Inter-item reliability was found to proceed with the statistics of the data. Moderate consistency was found. Using SPSS software, data was analyzed and find regression, descriptive statistics and reliability analyses. The findings of this study signifies, all the dimension of SERVQUAL model are significantly related with the Patient satisfaction, in addition our study also signified that there is a significant difference among public & private sector hospitals in terms of patient satisfaction. The discourse objective of this research was to determine the impact of free cash flows on the profitability of firms listed at the Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE). The population consisted of 580 companies listed in KSE as on March 7 th , 2015. A stratified sampling method was used to pick a sample of 30 companies listed at KSE. Data were collected from financial statements and published accounts. The amount of free cash flows that was available per year was used. Secondary data were extracted from audited annual reports and financial statements of firms sourced from KSE for a period of five years (2010 – 2014). Data were sorted, cleaned and coded, and then entered into statistical package for social science (SPSS). Data was of quantitative nature. So, data analysis was done by using correlation and regression model. The results revealed that free cash flow and size of firm influence firms' profitability while capital liquidity does not influence much on dependent variable profitability. This research will be useful since it will add more knowledge on the influence of excess cash on profitability of those firms which are listed at the KSE. Foreign and local investors would be able to get deep insights on the effect of free cash flow on investment while considering investment decisions and diversification for portfolios to increase profitability.

The aspect of emotional intelligence towards psychological capital is still not perfectly and adequately certified and is awaited for further analysis and investigation. Similarly, the growing interest on psychological capital within the managerial literature is rarely researched in Pakistan context. The current study aims to examine the mediating effect of emotional intelligence in the relationship between psychological capital and project success. Main focus is on how employees of construction organizations use their psychological strengths to accomplish their professional objectives. Sample of 213 respondents from 45 construction companies was collected from all over the Pakistan. The findings of the research revealed that psychological capital has significant relationship with emotional intelligence and emotional intelligence has also positive relationship with project success. Emotional intelligence mediated the relationship between three dimensions of psychological capital (self-efficacy, resilience and optimism) and project success whereas no mediation found between hope and project success. The results also indicated that three dimensions of psychological capital (self-efficacy, optimism and resilience) have positive significant relationship with project success and significant mediating effect of emotional intelligence.

E-learning is the rising phenomenon of delivering education to far off areas through the use of internet technology. This study was carried out on e-learning institutes of Pakistan to find out the influence of critical factors has on students' satisfaction? This research conducted by utilizing thirteen predictor variables under six dimensions (students', teachers,' technology, design, environmental and course) and their effect on criterion variable (Perceived e-learner satisfaction)-the data collected through a self-administered questionnaire. An aggregate of 250 questionnaires distributed among the students of e-learning institutes of Pakistan. The internal reliability of collected data checked through Cronbach alpha, and multiple regression analysis was utilized to test the hypotheses. The findings confirm that critical factors do influence on learners' satisfaction in e-learning institutes of Pakistan as the outcomes of the research demonstrate that eleven out of thirteen predictor variables had a significant impact on the criterion variable perceived e-learner satisfaction. The discoveries of current research would help the e-learning institutes of Pakistan in improving the standard of education and in launching new associated programs because, at the moment, they are offering minimal degree programs in the e-learning environment.
