The results obtained in this study indicate that SD Pusri strategy in improving the quality of educators and educational personnel through routine supervision of principals, delegation of authority, training, upgrading, seminars, technical guidance, workshops, and training, and to evaluate the performance of educators and educational staff offset by rewards. The strategy on improving the quality of facilities and infrastructure was done by coordinating through the early budgetary meetings, gradual fulfillment of facilities, comparative study and fulfillment the computer facilities. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan adalah 1) menjelaskan kepada peserta pelatihan tentang apa dan bagaimana penulisan dan publikasi PTK; 2) memberikan kesempatan kepada peserta pelatihan untuk berdiskusi; dan 3) peserta pelatihan diajak untuk bersama-sama menulis dan mengetahui cara mempublikasikan PTK. Hasil dari pelatihan ini, peserta memahami bagaimana membuat penulisan PTK yang baik dan harus dipublikasikan. Artikel ini baru, karena belum pernah dilakukan sebelumnya tentang bagaimana menulis sekaligus mempublikasikan. Kontribusi artikel ini dapat memberi pemahaman baru bagi para guru bagaimana menulis yang baik dan benar serta harus dipublikasikan di mana hasil tulisan yang telah dibuat.

Thus, the experiment (XI IPA3) and control groups (XI IPA 2) were created: the experiment group was taught by Picture Series while the control group was PowerPoint. The total sample of this research are 60 students of science High School 1 Ulakan Tapakis, West Sumatera,who were enrolled in two classes of grade XI IPA 3 and grade XI IPA 2 in 2015/2016 academic years. This research was experimental design, the instruments were observation sheet and reading test. The result showed that from mean score of experimental class 87.87 and mean score of control class 84.67. The data were analyzed by using SPSS program for windows version 18. The result of readings score showed that 2,42 >1,68 or sig 0,003 < 0,05. It showed that teaching reading by using Picture Series was accepted statistically. Thus, the experiment (XI IPA 1) and control groups (XI IPA 2) were created: the experiment group was taught by Role Play while the control group was taught by information gap. The total subject of this research were 62 students of science High School 1 Batang Anai, Padang Pariaman Regency,West Sumatera, Indonesia, who were enrolled in two classes of grade XI IPA 1 and grade XI IPA 2 in 2013/2014 academic years. This research was quantitave research. The instruments were applied here were observation sheet and speaking test. The result showed that from mean score of experimental class 21,42 and mean score of control class 20,48, it means the students who were taught through role play get the better result in English Speaking skill with those who were taught through information gap.
