An interesting debate has risen recently since many scholars argued that the economic policy uncertainty affecting the Euro-zone slowed down the recovery from the current crisis. Thus it is important to study which are the main variables affecting European unemployment, learning thus how to design policies aiming at improve the labour market conditions.
