There has been a moderate decline in membership over the past years. There are some 36,500 members (as of 2005). Members are organized in almost 200 congregations all over Germany, but mostly in Berlin, North-Rhine-Westphalia, Lower Saxony, and Hesse. Some 140 ordained pastors serve in the congregations.
