Differences in context between the source and destination of knowledge will challenge knowledge transfer activities, which requires deeper understandings of socialization activities and management policies that influence knowledge transfer among people. Organisations need to encourage the notion that the quality of ideas is more important than the status of source. This article offers an empirical investigation to understand the conditions of culture of knowledge transfer using confirmatory factor analysis. It hypothesized a direct positive relationship between cooperative culture refers to as " knowledge oriented culture (KOC) socialisation activities " and controlled culture refers to as " management practises ". Items representing the knowledge oriented culture (KOC) were developed from the findings of a wide review of literature regarding the most common frictions that inhabit and prevent knowledge transfer (KT). The main findings suggested that organisations should focus on and pay more to socialisation activities since it has more explanation powerful to organisation culture.

This paper capitalized on this gap to provide the needed perspective to comprehend the nature of IT support. A detailed analysis has been adopted by focusing on IT capabilities to the knowledge enabling factors. A robust methodology and critical evaluative criteria was adopted. A confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modelling strategy was selected as the analysis tool to achieve the research objectives.

Knowledge is becoming the key if not the ultimate factor of organization success in terms of its competence and survival. This fast growth created many problems in capturing, sharing and utilization of knowledge. This research aimed to present a conceptual framework of knowledge management life cycle. A coherent model of KMLC was developed based on a thorough investigation of various models presented in KM literature. The main emphasis was focused on the concept of verification and validation across the knowledge management cycle from knowledge capture to Knowledge utilization. The problems investigated here are related to the quality of knowledge captured, reliability of its sources, and its representation. There are many different knowledge management life cycle exist in the literature that describe the organization ability to create knowledge from different resources in order to be used, integrate and apply it in their business process. Analyzing various views, arrangements, content and results of these studies, the researchers drive a more robust knowledge life cycle that describe a more valid process of knowledge cycle.

This insight adopts a systemic view of organizational learning (OL) to enhance the strategic alignment process. Organizational learning can be seen as a core competence, and it could be exploited to enhance strategic alignment process by broadening the focus of OL process to encompass both of internal and external organizational environments at three main levels. At the Internal environment level, it is expected that, OL enhances strategic alignment process not only between Information system (IS) department strategy and business strategy, but also it improves process-people strategic alignment level by emphasizing on the balanced view of technical and behavioral OL aspects. On the other hand, at the external environment level, OL may enhance the strategic alignment process between both of task environment and general environment by analyzing their elements and the other correlated issues dealing with expected and unexpected opportunities and threats. The third level of strategic alignment -dealing with the relationship between internal and external organizational environments is expected to occur when building on this more realistic and accurate OL. As a result of this systemic view of OL to enhance strategic alignment process, it is expected that an increased competitive advantage will occur.

A suggested model was developed based on Luftman and his colleagues six IT/Business strategic alignment enablers model. The main hypothesis and other six sub hypotheses were derived to investigate the supposed relationship. An organization-wide assessment was adopted in this study to provide a macro objective view of the current IT/Business strategic alignment enablers within the researched companies. Therefore; a structured quantitative survey in the form of a questionnaire was developed and delivered to companies' members from all managerial levels within mobile and fixed telecommunications organizations in Jordan. Based on the perceptions of respondents, the six IT/Business enablers were explored throughout the study. The results of the study indicated that there is a significant relationship at (5) percent level between each of the independent variables (senior executive support for IT, IT involvement in strategy development, IT understanding of the business, Business/IT partnership, well-prioritized IT projects, IT demonstrated leadership) and the dependent variable (IT/Business strategic alignment enablement). Based on the results of this study, a set of recommendations were proposed. Some of them are:

It is interesting to understand and to explore people's attitudes toward sharing knowledge and to see whether there are significant factors can influence people's attitudes. The main purpose of this study is to understand attitudes of employees toward knowledge sharing and to explore culture influences on knowledge sharing. This research is designed to the understanding of factors that affect the bank employees' knowledge sharing and culture influence on knowledge sharing. The possible contribution of this research is to bridge the gap between what people (employees) know (information and expertise) and what they share. In this research researchers apply an extended theory of reasoned action (TRA) as theoretical framework to test knowledge sharing in the banking sector and to explore whether national culture influences users' perception and knowledge sharing.

The authors examine carefully the conversion process of knowledge; i.e. tacit knowledge to explicit knowledge and finally to information and vise versa. They introduced a mathematical interpretation and representation of knowledge conversion and brought to light a new concept labeled as "Infoledge". The mathe-matical representation of knowledge transfer represents a new trend in this area that can be util-ized in wider domains, i.e. human sciences, cognitive science, artificial intelligence and so on, through exploiting this view in related applications.

This study empirically examines the relationship between knowledge management processes and project management in the context of the information technology industry in Jordan. Very frequently projects, mostly information technology (IT) projects, fail or are challenged due to their incapability to get the right knowledge to the right people at the right time, and help people on the project share and put information into action in ways, which improve project performance. Knowledge management may be able to address this. Previous studies have not clearly identified nor demonstrated the relationship between the management of projects and the use of knowledge management processes. The purpose of this research is to identify if a positive relationship exists between the two? If a relationship does exist, which knowledge management processes in use by practitioners of project management are significant in terms of improving project management, and what is their impact? Hundred and fourteen project practitioners (project managers, managers, team leaders, team members, supervisors, etc) some affiliated with the Project Management Institute (PMI), and mostly from organizations in the IT industry both governmental and private had participated in the research to answer these questions. A positivistic approach was adapted using quantitative data. A survey aimed at project practitioners of information technology industry population was conducted in an effort to investigate the knowledge management activities and to examine the relationship of knowledge management processes and the improvement of project management.
