Marina Lagou

Marina Lagou was born in Athens. She studied Archaeology and History of Art at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She then studied Contemporary Art Theory at the Universitat Autónoma of Barcelona, after which she continued with Cultural Management Studies at the Panteion University of Athens (MA). She is a PhD candidate at the Ionian University of Corfu. She has curated numerous art exhibitions and she has written theoretical texts about contemporary art/artists and cinema. She has worked as a high school teacher on the island of Ikaria where she has lived for the past fifteen years.
