尺子

尺子，又稱尺、間尺，是用來测量长度的工具，其中以直尺最为常见，可以用来绘制线段。[1]在尺規作圖中，尺被視為可畫無窮長的直線的工具。尺上通常有刻度用来读数。有些尺更在中間留有特殊形狀如字母或圓形的洞，方便用者畫圖。
通常，該儀器是剛性的；有些尺子，例如捲尺，是非剛性的。存在具有可保持選定形狀的柔性邊緣的特殊尺，它們可用於縫紉、藝術和工藝品。
