Biography
Catharine was christened on August 2, 1795 at Church Knowle, Purbecks, Dorset, the daughter of Thomas and Mary Fooks.[1]
John Holloway married Catherine Fooks in Bristol, Gloucestershire on 19 November 1821.[2]
John and Catherine had six children.
- James Albert b. 1822 in Poole
- Isabella born Bristol in 1824
- Alfred b. 1826 Poole
- Augustus b.1828 in Church Knowle
- George Grale b. 1831 Church Knowle
- John Henry b. 1837 Church Knowle
In 1841 John and Catherine and four children, James, Isabella, George and Henry are living in Church Knowle.[3]
In 1851 John and Catherine and two children Isabella and Augustus are living in St James Poole. John is a brush maker.[4]
Catherine Holloway died 1 April 1859 in Poole aged 64.[5]
