James Temple has been a business journalist for more than a decade, most recently as the science and health reporter for Re/code. Previous to that, he was a technology columnist at the San Francisco Chronicle and also a multimedia journalist who shot and edited video pieces for SFGate.com.
James completed the National Press Photographers Association’s Multimedia Immersion program at Syracuse University and was fellow at the Knight Digital Media Center’s Digital Storytelling Workshop at UC Berkeley.
Previously, he covered advertising, banking, real estate, retail and technology for Bloomberg News, the Contra Costa Times, the San Francisco Business Times and Bridge News.
He is a graduate of Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism.
