From the discussion above, it can seen that the droplet stream configurations are mainly influenced by the following parameters:1) a, the degree of modulation of the waveform; 2) ¢. the phase difference between the carrier and modulation signals; 3) V., the charging voltage; and 4) R, the frequency ratio between the carrier signal and the modulation signal. Different kind of droplet configurations could be achieved through the combination of the aforementioned parameters.
