The toponym is literally the ‘valley of Kezenanga’ the latter being the Bideyat name for the Leptadenia pyrotech- nica shrub, a common plant species throu- ghout the region. While exploring the area on a previous visit, Pier Paolo Rossi re-loca- ted the sites of Sosola and Keymena, both of which are referred to by Bailloud as nearby. After searching the rock avenues to the North of Keymena, a small site was found that mat- ched a tracing of Bailloud and identified the site as Soro Kezenanga IV (Simonis et al. 2017: fig. 70.21). Résumé : Pendant un an de prospection d’art rupestre en Ennedi en 1956-57, Gérard Bailloud a recensé plus de 500 sites, dont la majorité a été retrouvée ces derniéres années. Cependant, un groupe de peintures de Soro Keze- nanga et Tarchia a obstinément échappé a toute tentative de les retrouver. Durant l’hiver 2018, les auteurs ont fina- lement retrouvé les sites «perdus» présentés ici, tout en découvrant certains sites non signalés auparavant.
