Figure 1. Stomata area of the yam cultivars studied anisotricytic, isotricytic, tetracytic, staurocytic, and anomocytic (Figure 3 and Table 2). The stomata area was in the range of 1,232.00 pm? and 2,407.00 pm. The D. dumetorum had the least stomata area recorded for all the yam cultivars studied (Figure 1).
