For that purpose, the clapper board is segmented from the backgrounc and the obtained region is automatically triangulated as depicted in Fig. 4.8. The joint o the clapper board that allows opening it is specified manually. Five animation parameter: determine pose and shape of the object: translation in three directions, rotation in the image plane and opening of the clapper board. These five parameters are estimated ir addition to the FAPs of the head model using two independent motion estimators. Fig. 4.‘ shows three frames of the sequence together with the corresponding model frames createc by rendering the two objects with the estimated parameters.
