The army personnel from Hanuman Dhokha palace area were also present to sort and salvage the wooden members from Kasthamandap among other debris. Various social clubs, local clubs, interested individuals, organizations joined forces. Although the re construction modality became an issue of contention, every heritage lover wanted to see Kasthamandap being rebuilt with its original values.
