When the target was /z/-final doze, the control and contrastive conditions hai se words: The critical targets were /s/- or /z/-final words. In contrastive trials, one of the two alternative words was the voicing-final minimal pair of the target. In control trials, neither of the two alternatives was the voicing-final minimal pair.
