The outcome of the study can be used as a guide for proper utilization of the reservoir during drought and will be helpful in planning, development and management of drought mitigation measures, due to temporal and spatial non-uniform rainfall distribution and varying water demand in the sub-basin. Drought impact can be reduced by implementing the ability of water regulation throughout the rainy and dry seasons.
