The table above shows examples of possible translation code of different patterns of activity in Java. Note that the X0, X1, and X2 are objects that can be type of any.  The notion of the transformation rules follow patterns as shown in Table 2. We consider that an activity diagram can be seen as a collection of patterns. Here the patterns are used to simplify the code generation from activity diagrams.
