Smart Gadget for Women Safety using IoT (Internet of Things)

In today's world it is not safe to travel alone, specially for women. Since many unexpected, and shameful incidents are happening around the world. Problems can occur from anywhere and anytime, as women are also growing equally like men so for that purpose they have to travel alone at night especially in public transport. for that reason we need to solve this problem of women. They also shouldn't feel any fear regarding their safety. This paper represents IoT based device along with android application which will serve the purpose to rescue the women from crisis situation. As we all know that nowadays every individual carry their own smartphones and wearables. The uses of android along with smart wearables is increasing rapidly so it is better to have such system which will provide a safe environment for women in crisis situation.

Everyday every female irrespective of their age face lot of security issues while stepping out of the houses, in today's world women's safety has become one of the major problem Women have alwaysbeen vulnerable. Even with technology advancements, women are still unsafe anywhere. There are many places where they are vulnerable-including lonelyroads and abandoned places. In light of the current crime situation with women, a smart safety app based on the Internet of Things was suggested An IoT smart device that incorporates GPS, a panic button, a watch me button, and a web interface is used to provide the victim with her current location upon pressing a button. I.

In the current situation, the important goal is to provide security to women from issues of women harassment. The only thought haunting every girl is when they will be able to move freely on the streets even at any time without worrying about their security. This paper suggests a new idea to use technology for women safety. “Over 34,600 cases of rape have been reported across the country last year with Madhya Pradesh and Delhi topping the infamous list of states and union territories ,this statistics released by the Country's National Crime Records Bureau(NCRB) had revealed” That’s a HUGE number! We propose an idea which changes the way everyone thinks about women safety. We propose to have a device which is the integration of multiple devices, hardware comprises of a wearable “Smart band” which continuously communicates with Smart phone that has access to the internet. The application is activated and loaded with all the required data which includes Human behavior and reaction. This generates a signal which is transmitted to the smart phone. The application has access to GPS and Messaging services which is pre-programmed in such a way that whenever it receives emergency signal, it can send help request along with the location co-ordinates to the nearest Police station, relatives. This action enables help instantaneously from the Police.

In today's world women are less secure and have many issues regarding their security purpose. Women's Safety hence, has become a very important issue due to rising crimes against women these days. Women face a lot of challenges every day and there is a need to construct a system to ensure women's safety. Although there are many existing systems for security purpose need of advanced smart security system is increasing day by day. In order to overcome such problems smart security system for women is implemented. This system describes about safe and secure electronic system for women which comprises of Arduino Nano and sensors such as temperature sensor, accelerometer, pulse rate sensor. A buzzer, GSM and GPS are also used in this project. When the woman is in threat, the device senses the body parameters like heartbeat rate, change in temperature, and the bending movement of the victim by accelerometer. When the sensor crosses the threshold limit the device sends the location of the victim using the GPS module. By using the GSM module, the victim's location is sent to the registered contact number.

Nowadays for women and children safety is a prime issue in our society. The counts of the victim are increasing day by day. In this paper, we are proposing a model which will help to ensure the safety of women and children all over the globe. Women will be provided with an equipment consisting of GPS (Global Positioning System) module by which we can get the geographical location and in the case of any emergency conditions she can press a button once then the location information will be tracked and sent to police and family members so that she will be protected in proper time. The Smart band integrated with Smart phone has an added advantage so as to reduce the cost of the device and also in reduced size. The GPS and IOT can be used of a smart phone. This also enables in reduced power use and that the watch can be installed with which comes in handy for several days on a single shot of charge.

The paper presents a Wearable safety device for women using the NodeMCU microcontroller. The research purpose of this device is to safeguard women in the event they might face any danger. The device uses IoT to communicate with the secure channels and to send alerts to them. The device is programmed in such a way that as soon as the sensor readings go above the threshold values the distress algorithm is initiated. The GPS and GSM are used to ping the user's location directly to the relevant authorities and saved contacts. The two additional switches in the device work for sending manual alerts in case of emergency and disengaging the system in case of generation of the false alerts respectively. ThingSpeak is an IoT platform that allows us to connect and save sensor data in the cloud and develop IoT applications. The advantage of this platform helps us in uploading the data on ThingSpeak after every 30sec so that continuous health monitoring of the individual can also be done. Taking into account this, the previously mentioned framework is a wellspring of building up an item for people which helps in keeping up the security of the user by taking out the inclusion of users to start any procedural exercises against any circumstance which the user might feel at serious risk.

This project introducing a new creative idea for protection of women from the tragedy situation. In this creative idea we using the sensors like temperature sensors, accelerometer sensor, Microcontroller (ATMEGA8), GSM, WIFI shield, LCD and the buzzer, RS232 cable. When the victim press the switch the data like the temperature and movement of the victim from the temperature sensor and MEMS accelerometer sensors are given to the Microcontroller (atmega8). The Microcontroller check the data to the threshold values which are predefined in the controller. If it reaches the threshold value the buzzer will alarmed. GPS is to track the location of the victim and send the location of the victim to the nearby police station and the phone numbers of the victim relatives through the alert message. In the present technological developments, the internet of things (IoT) technology connects all interconnected networks. The attacks on women are increasing daily in Indian countries. If the woman is not carrying a mobile phone or device, she cannot contact the police station or other family members. This proposed method will help the women identify the exact location and inform the police station in such a scenario. The Emergencies, the women, can press the button once the location information is tracked. The purpose of this project is to help women in emergencies. Location tracking and short service messages are also sent to the family members and nearby police stations.

Now-a-days women are facing several difficulties based on their safety, even in present society, women's protection has always been a challenge with so much technological progress. Women aren't safe everywhere and are most susceptible to desolate roads and abandoned areas while travelling alone. Emerging hand-held safety features for women involve physical activity to trigger the system after detecting the threat, such as pushing the button or shaking the machine, etc. We suggest alternatives that seek to resolve the shortcomings of current structures and provide women with false evidence of protection. The research framework helps build IoT-based safety device that relies on developing partnerships with protection through a signature method of connected devices and notifying civilians and police in the vicinity when a woman is not protected. Fingerprint authentication detects a hazardous condition for a minute, then that will automatically notify local people and police if the Body sensors, Arduino, Raspberry pi, GPS, Internet of Things, Women Security, Smart Band system detects no signal.

Nowadays women are facing many security problems in the society. In such cases, they feel handicap and need help to protect them. Even though many technologies have been introduced for women still kidnapping, eve teasing and sexual harassment are taking place in our country. When the women face into unsecured situations, to ensure the safety, automatic detection system needs to establish which send an alert message which includes the location of the police department. This can be done by sensing various factors such as abnormal sounds, body reaction like trembling, dreading and heartbeat which can be sensed using sensor and to provide the alert message.In this paper, we surveyed the existing mechanism for detecting locations, for sending communications and collecting physical parameters of the human body using sensors.
