The present study is an attempt to evaluate the attitude towards values education of the students of Islamic University, Kushtia, Bangladesh. Data were collected from 53 students purposively through structure questionnaire following five points Likert Scale and analyzed with different statistical tools and techniques like coefficient of variation, correlation, regression, ANOVA test and Chi-Square test. The mean values of agreed level of the included variables found lower of 3.21 to higher 4.15 indicating no comment and agreed. The modes values of the maximum 7 variables are 4.00 expressed agreed; only the variable X1 shows the value 3 indicates no comment. The value of Cronbach's Alpha is 0.87 indicating good position in measurement of the degree of internal consistency and the included variables have a suitable reliability for analysis of the undertaken study. The coefficients of correlation of each of 8 variables have significant association with the modal perceptions of values education given by the respondents. The R-square, adjusted R-square and significant F (8, 44)-Ratio [ANOVA] are estimated as 89%, 86% and 42.26* respectively imply best fit of the regression model. The significant positive impact of the independent variables X2 (0.51*), X4 (0.19*) and X8 (0.13*) have been found on the dependent variable of modal perceived agreed level of the students. The rest of the independent variables have the positive insignificant influence on the same except X6 (−0.40).

The goal of this paper was to study critically why madrasah as an institutional development agen of Islamic education in Indonesia, whith the innovation is that of curriculum oriented in hospitality in approaching the students based on tauhid (the unity of science and religion). The study is carried out in the prespective of Islamic education concept and that of inclusive education. Through comparative analysis, the study finds five same characteristics of Islamic education and inclusive education: (1) education as a right or duty; (2) education for all; (3) the principle of non-segregation; (4) the holistic view of the pupil; (5) handicap seen in relation to external factors, especially school environment. Madrasah can be viewed as an application of both the principle of non-segregation and the holistic view of the pupil. The principle of non-segregation is applicated in the process of education with the hospitality to all students: everyone is admitted in accordance with his faculty and potentiality, and receives educational services without discrimination. Moreover, the holistic view of the pupil is applicated in the intended design to meet the faculty of reasoning with that of intuition in the process of learning by the integration the revealed signs from the Qur"an and Sunnah with the cosmic signs (matters of natural and social sciences). The innovation, then, has made the revealed signs the first data as well as the source of values-both are marginalized in the contemporary practice of education. Other principles are being challenges the madrasah should anticipate in the future. One of them is the developing education human resource, and the way of student recruitment, because they have deferent background.

The purpose of the present study was to assess the personal values of the higher secondary students and to identify the importance of classroom learning environment and the different curricular programmes in this regard. The sample comprised of the class XII students of the West Bengal Board of Higher Secondary Education. Cluster sampling technique was used to select 12 schools and the size of sample was 763. An Information schedule was used to identify the curricular programmes carried out in schools, and standardized questionnaires were used to assess classroom learning environment and personal values. In this Correlational research, Descriptive Statistics, Correlation, Regression Analysis and One-way ANOVA were computed in SPSS-17. The findings revealed that the majority of the students had high preference for Democratic, Economic, Hedonistic and Family prestige Values. The correlation and regression analysis indicated that significant correlation of learning environment exists only with two personal values-Knowledge and Hedonistic. The relative contribution of the learning environment in predicting these criterion variables is significant, though it is very low. ANOVA results suggest that the different curricular programmes for teaching personal values have significant impact only on religious and social values. So the study implies that more concerted efforts in conducting the curricular programmes for value education are necessary. For this purpose the steps suggested by Burrett and Rusnak (1993) [3] have been discussed.
