Abstract

This study aims to contribute to the literature on digitalization in education. In the study, a semi-structured interview form is used. The experts working in the educational field in private institutions were interviewed for this study. The study examines the effects of digitalization in education; although there are no specific studies for education departments in the private sector in the literature, it has been seen that the effects of digitalization are similar. The study also shows different factors such as the people's fears about digitalization in education, lack of authentic educational materials, its ineffectiveness compared to face-to-face education, and the scarcity of digital literacy.With digitalization in education, arranging educational content using technological opportunities, creating educational materials combined with virtual reality, and applying gamification in education becomes important in terms of the effectiveness of education.   Keywords ; Digitizatio...

The answers given to the question were evaluated in 2 categories. In the category of companies, 63% of the participants stated that technological problems, financial resources, not all educational content is suitable for digitalization, difficulty in explaining its benefits and ensuring active participation, lack of application, decrease in educational efficiency, original content preparation, trainer's transition to the role of informing with digital education, digital content stated the problems of lack of educational materials. 37% of the participants are afraid that; they cannot use their body language, and they have to attend the training at the same time while working at work; also people's resistance, the problem of adapting quickly to changes, the non-young participants are not close to digitalization, the tools used in learning technologies are not known, distraction-learning difficulties, They expressed the problems of inequality of opportunity, lack of digital literacy, and participants indifference.

This article is aimed to describe the profile of educands in the digital era which obtained through the research of "Pedagogic in the Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0". The research method used is the phenomenology research method. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with the Pedagogics Study Program students who work as educators. The results of the study include (1) Education 4.0: Digitalization of Education; (2) Challenges of Education 4.0; and (3) Education which is relevant to The Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0. Based on those findings of the research results, it is understood that the era of industrial revolution 4.0 is closely related to the development of the digital world which provides many opportunities and challenges, among others from the educands factor. The profile of educands in the digital era needs to be understood as the basis for considering the application of educational concepts which is relevant to the digital age. Through analysis of the research findings, the profile of the educands presented in this article, namely, the use of digital technologies and changes of educands' characters in the digital era. Educands use digitals technologies and internet access to obtain knowledge and information, socialize and for entertaining. However, the development of industrial revolution 4.0 also bringing changes in the educands' characters, which is the addiction to digital technologies and tend to underestimate something.

The positioning of digital and game segments as educational phenomena is an urgent issue in need of theoretical and methodological analysis. The aim of the article is to highlight the features of gamification and digitalization in the context of innovative development of education. The task of scientific exploration focuses on the harmonization of digital and game elements in the formation of the modern educational paradigm. The research methodology focused around the potential of general scientific (analysis, systematization, forecasting) and scientific and pedagogical methodological discourse (conceptualization, modeling). The results indicate that the digital and game components form the innovative dimension of educational strategies. At the same time, two ways of reconciling the key components of the educational space are distinguished: innovativeness & traditionalism and innovativeness vs traditionalism. Consequently, gamification and digitalization are the factors that determine the ratio of traditional and innovative components in educational development strategies. Digital Aspects of Modern Society and Education Realities

This article focuses on the importance of digitalization in the modern society. Following the National Statistical Institute data in regional and age aspects that presented different dimensions of digitalization and its entry in the society are analyzed. The digitalization of education is shown, following various policies and measures taken at the national level. An important element of the analysis is the data on online learning and arguments of different groups of parents about its place in the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic. The main conclusion of the article is that in Bulgarian society there is a relatively good digital environment that is an important prerequisite for the development of the digital skills in the modern societies.

Methodological Approach to Studying Unintended Consequences of Digitalization in Education

The article describes sociological research methodology referring to the problems of digitalization in education. The authors’ concept of digitalization is defined according to the specific aims of the study, emphasizing the peculiarities of the educational sphere. Digitalization in education can be considered as an introduction and active use of digital technologies at different stages of the educational process. The study has determined that the introduction of digital technologies in education leads to the unintended consequences which can have unanticipated effects on educational institutions and their actors. The relevance of the problem of digital transformation of education is mainly connected with digital technologies and their focus on learning, however educational and development potential of this process and its axiological component are frequently ignored. If cultural and national values are continued to be disregarded, there is a risk of replacing them with a surrogate of a cultivated by the government model of a citizen. This article draws attention to the necessity of a purposeful formation of value beliefs and a national code in the process of digital transformation of the education system, of identifying and presenting the risks of this process, as well as means to solve possible problems. The following methods were used: analysis of academic sources on the issue, method of independent evaluations, monitoring, modelling. The main approach of the study is axiological.

Education is a basic need for every human being and digital education is the current trend and necessity for every students or learners to be more focused in their learning. In this paper authors worked with these current phenomena. Digital education helps students or learners to gather knowledge in easier and different ways than before. It also reduces the learning time. In traditional education system we were mostly dependent on text book or in instructor's speech. But nowadays it is easier to find any text book or any other learning materials by using digital educational tools. Another charismatic change that transformed human life is social networking. In terms of digital education social networks contribute a good portion of education. Among social networking services, Facebook has become most popular for communication with familiar and unfamiliar persons. The impact of the use of Facebook on students is very impactful. In this paper authors conducted a survey on various students for understanding the digitalization effect on educational purpose. Machine learning was applied for classified the happy and unhappy student with digitalization where focused time spent on educational purposes. Finally authors provided an analytical summary of digitalization effect on education based on their survey.

Digital education is essentially a product of the past several years, although in different forms it already existed slightly earlier. It is evident, however, that modern devices and means of information transfer are necessary for its development. This type of education would not be therefore possible without rapid development of computers and the Internet. In fact, it can be concluded that they were primary in relation to digital education and somehow they forced its emegrence1 because the prevalence of computers and broadband Internet has given a very strong impulse to use them also in the educational activity. As a consequence, today 'virtual lectures, modern e-learning courses, educational games, electronic tests, portals with educational resources as well as digital school registers and monitoring systems of the learning process'2 have entered everyday reality. This article aims to show the specificity of digital education, the current state of its implementation, the expected results and concerns in this respect. The presentation of the perspectives for digital course books will be the culmination of the reflection undertaken here.

Aim. The aim of the article is to map out the current issues related to education in the era of digital and technological changes on the basis of theoretical and research findings. Methods. The published article is based on the theoretical and research findings of various authors and offers a critical reflection on some selected current aspects of education in the digital world, such as the problem of digital dementia and digital intelligence, the addiction associated with it, parenting styles, the development of critical thinking and the formation of a value system. Results. Creating an analysis that explores the current challenges of education in the digital age. Analysing the selected most frequent problems of the subject matter, primarily from the point of view of ethics, sociology, and psychology, based on several researches reflecting the risks of using modern technology and digital media. It is necessary to guide the child from early childhood to build values, critical thinking, but also own self-esteem and empathy. Since the foundations for a child's education are laid in the family, it is precisely family education that can (un)prepare the child for entering the world of digital media and its optimal functioning in it. Cognitive value. The technologies that children and today's young people use in their daily lives affect not only their physical, but especially their psychological health, self-esteem, and critical thinking. As such, it can be beneficial for further building and developing the theory and at the same time be a basis for additional research.

In the coming decades if information technology has its approach, education will be far changed, more immersive and hopefully more constructive to the people than it is today. Digitization in education industry has totally changed the learning and also the teaching process to a very great extent. Technology has made imparting education stress-free for both students and educators. The true revolution in education can only be achieved via digitization of education so that students can learn at their own speed both within and outside the classroom. Their learning upgrades while they carry on to advantage from fostering, mentorship and direction of their teachers. Various teachers are ready to accept the wave of digitization but more effort still need to be exercised when it comes to teacher training. most educators are at the stage of figuring out how to use technology meaningfully for teaching. And these teachers are right to be concerned, since depending on how it is use, technology can either help or hinder the educations process. So, this paper highlights the gap between the usage of digital technologies in teaching between the private school teachers and government school teachers and to know their perception regarding digitalization.

Formation of An Education Digitalization Strategy in Present-Day Conditions

The article is devoted to the formation of a strategy for the digitalization of education in present-date conditions. It is established that the very structure of training and the organization of the educational process change fundamentally in the course of digitalization. These changes will require both the selection of material for creating courses and organizing them, as well as for the management of the educational institution. It is proved that the resulting educational environment can be implemented according to several algorithms, of which each has the priority of existence. Cost-free developments of specialized Internet resources, as well as paid platforms are among the most significant options to implement educational content. It is revealed that the use of new information and communication technologies is only an initial condition for the further development of digital learning, whose assessment criterion is its usefulness for students in the current context.

Digitization in education is a process formed because of the general digitization of society and all its sectors. Digitization improves the education quality and methods. Digital technologies are an integral part of any field of education. The following criteria defining the level of digitization of the learning process in the universities are essential. The first criterion, we think, is expanding learning opportunities by providing electronic materials (slides from lectures, videos, exercises, projects, etc.); acceptance and evaluation of materials related to the learning process in digital form based on already existing and popular technologies allow training from any location, regardless of the physical location of the university. The second criterion is the education interactivity; the increasing and massive entry of audio and visual devices helps for this. The third criterion is the demand for new digital skills from businesses -creating websites, mobile applications, cyber security and more. Another criterion could be the digital expansion of the competence of the university -the increase in the number and attractiveness of the offered digital services (enrollment, education, exam process, practices, etc.), which are tailored to the interests and preferences of students based on their digital experience and digital expectations. All these questions will be the subject of research in this article.
