This research addresses the challenges of information retrieval in multimedia presentations composed of synchronized media types, such as audio, video, images, and text. It proposes a retrieval model that reconstructs presentation fragments from atomic components based on user queries, ensuring the relevance and coherence of multimedia items according to their synchronization relationships. The findings are particularly applicable in news-oriented applications and virtual museums, enhancing user navigation and experience in multimedia content.
