Abstract
Over time along with the introduction of the latest technology in the environment, humans are rapidly evolving with these latest technologies. Technology is advancing with every passing day and owning a smart home is becoming a necessity. In the past, smart homes were considered to be part of people who were able to afford the luxury things, but today they have become an important part of every human being. The basic reason for the transformation of homes into the smart homes is due to the technological advancement. With the help of the smart device, you would be able to operate your heating and cooling as well turn on and turn off lights with a single click from anywhere in your house or from anywhere around the world. As these latest developments also help in saving the electricity which is growing the concerns nowadays. With these smarts homes, it permits the human being to control the homes from anywhere around the globe. These features like efficiency and convenience offered by the smart home is enough to convince any person to turn their homes into a smart home too.

this study surveys a range of devices and applications based on information and computer technologies to automate their control houses and related activities which together form what are called Smart Home systems. The aim of this research is to explore examples of such devices and applications used to provide smart home technologies and their benefits and challenges to users. Interviews were administered to 18 users of Smart Home technologies. The participants were selected randomly by purposive sampling on the basis of having and using a smart home technology, and with the goal of ascertaining which types of this technology are being used, their modus operandi, and their benefits and any implementation issues. This was complemented by exploring the systems through watching and observing online videos of people using them. The findings reveal a varied number of Smart Home systems being used for automating household operations. The primary reasons for using them are their efficiency and simplicity of operation in spite of being challenged by their high costs. In relative order, the greatest perceived benefits of a smart home system for the participants in order were convenience, energy savings, the security it can provide, and simplicity of control. The greatest challenges were cost, design aspects, technical challenges, and lacking in meeting special user needs.

Research in smart homes is still quite recent; however, there is no doubt that it will become a pervasive research topic in the near future. This chapter analyzes the whole research production on smart homes indexed in the Scopus database from 1985 to 2019, yielding a total of 11,000 studies. One of the goals of this chapter is to identify the main countries and institutions that have published on this topic and what their interest has been throughout the time. Four out of 116 countries stand out in this field, namely China, USA, India, and South Korea. In terms of the main institutions, the three with the highest scientific output are Ulster University

Technological developments are diversified every day from the early periods of human existence, changing human life more and more. The most intense period of these developments is the IT Revolution. This period has brought processes such as artificial intelligence, electronic commerce and online life. Just as a hundred years ago, electricity transformed everything, and artificial intelligence is expected to transform all industries today. Technological developments in recent years have also shown itself in the design and production of housing and have begun to change the technical characteristics of the houses that improve the quality of life of the user. The way homes are used has changed, people have become used for their homes for work, entertainment and their families. Sustainable to produce time-appropriate solutions, to save energy and living costs while protecting nature, in short, to improve quality of life, to facilitate life at home, to provide a safer, more comfortable and more costly environment. Smart House" proposal has also emerged in this process. It's impossible to predict what the future will look like. However, it will show time whether human intelligence will increase or remain in the shadow of artificial intelligence, thanks to smart homes that are becoming widespread by the development of technology. The purpose of this study was analyzed by the SWOT method of smart homes thanks to extensive literature research on smart homes and interviews with smart home experts. This study is expected to make an important contribution to interdisciplinary studies.
Architecture has been and remains the mirror that reflects the civilization of peoples throughout the ages, which is happening now in the field of global architecture is a shift in the general thought as a whole, as the modern era in which we live now is undoubtedly the era of technology and information revolution has reflected this image on buildings And imposed itself and the idea of smart systems and intelligent buildings emerged as an automatic response to architecture on the scientific and technological development. There is a major problem is through two aspects: The first aspect is to limit the concept of smart house to the majority of individuals to provide and facilitate techniques to achieve security and prosperity in the home, and increase the others in the provision of energy, The second aspect is the lack of consideration of the role that mating can play between the concepts related to these two directions (computer technology and energy reduction) in developing the concept of smart house and its role in the field of energy conservation and improving its thermal performance and thus increasing its total value. Therefore, the importance of studying the smart house is that the development of this trend in the hoped-for way serves the same inhabitant by providing the appropriate lifestyle and the economy in the cost of its operation, which is reflected positively on the development of society, and serves the environment in which these houses are characterized by their characteristics of sustainability, On the third hand, its impact on the state has a positive effect on reducing the depletion of the general energy resources in the country and the possibility of directing the resulting savings in other development hubs. A framework for research has been identified from three axes. The first is a study of the concept group related to architecture, smart house and sustainability, The second axis: study the role of smart house in the reduce of energy consumption and achieve sustainability and appropriateness and reflection on the development of society, the third axis: An analysis of a variety of different models of houses with general intelligence in the building, measurement of the smart aspects and the extent of their reflection on the characteristics of the house In order to arrive at specific results that can be evaluated and used in developing a set of criteria to assess the level of housing intelligence.
Smart home is a habitation that has been outftted with technological solutions that are intended to provide people with services that are suited to their needs. Te purpose of this article is to perform a systematic assessment of the latest smart home literature and to conduct a survey of research and development conducted in this feld. In addition to presenting a complete picture of the current smart home system's (SHS) development and characteristics, this paper provides a deep insight into latest hardware and trends. Te research then moves on to a detailed discussion of some of the important services provided by the SHS and its advantages. Te paper also statistically discusses the current and future research trends in the SHS, followed by a detailed portrayal of the difculties and roadblocks in implementing them. Te comprehensive overview of the SHS presented in this paper will help designers, researchers, funding agencies, and policymakers have a bird's-eye view of the overall concept, attributes, technological aspects, and features of modern SHSs.

The purpose of this study is to find out how effective the use of smart home system technology is on properties; smart home systems can make it easier for users to control functions automatically. The research method used is a qualitative method in order to find out in depth how effective the use of the smart home system technology is. Along with the development of the times, technology also accompanies the property in terms of security, comfort, convenience, and cleanliness. Since the COVID-19 pandemic came, we have found that facilities that use smart home system technology are urgently needed at this time, because during the pandemic, work and learning activities turn into online activities. This research shows that the effectiveness of smart home system technology can make work and study activities more effective.
