AN APPROACH ON DEVELOPMENT OF AUTOMATIC BABY CRADLE

Abstract
A mechanized baby smart cradle system based on IoT, smart sensing and deep learning machine vision techniques is proposed in this paper. This system emphasizes the importance of baby care. By monitoring infant body conditions such as, baby body temperature, sleeping posture of baby, as well as the condition surrounded by baby such as light, noise, humidity and temperature, the projected system can examine and predict the obvious/potential dangerous conditions according to observed data and then adopt suitable actions in real time to protect the infant from harm to the sleeping baby. It is the device which is manufactured and design for the safe and comfortable sleep of a new born baby, in the generation where the mothers goes work and not having much free time because of their jobs. So it is essential that sum one should be there to take care of baby, his sleep, his hygiene until the mother comes. We are going to manufacture this cradle to satisfy such needs of such working conditions by using crank rockers mechanism which holds the baby weight and over all mechanism of assembly. By providing them with an Automatic Baby Monitoring System, with a special focus on developing and emerging countries. The safe design if manufacturer by using the designing software that helps to get safe design of cradel. For the easy motion of the cradle dc motor and links are used to oscillate the cradle and sensing the wet condition is detected by the sensors with the help of the Arduino kit. It also attached with the moister sensor to maintain the sanitization of baby. The electric motor will actuate links by shaft. The links actuate the rod attached to the bed at constant speed. The carriage is attached to the metal rod through springs which will provide a vibratory motion. It will ensure the motion of the cradle with a comfortable speed for the baby. Motor, links and sensors are attached to the side of the cradle frame. High strength and light weight material is used for the manufacturing of the cradle. This project is the personification of mother into a mechanized Smart Baby Cradle, brought about by mixing distinctive features i.e. automatic cradle swing (using cry detection system), interactive toys connected to cradle and communication module system (for continuous monitoring purposes on baby), in a single unit. The current era of digitization of movement of baby to the computer or some digital screen provides a large-scale availability of data as well as computing capability which can be used to bridge the gap between a child and a working mother. This paper proposes the use of "Smart Cradle" an Electronic Cradle which involves the use of Internet of Things. The planned solution involves live monitoring of the child through a mobile application software remotely. The smart cradle incorporates the use of passive infrared sensor for monitoring the movement of the child; Noise sensor for the detection of the child's crying activity and automatically swings the cradle to soothe the child. The DHT like humidity and temperature sensor notifies the parent about the body temperature of the child via text message or digitization of movement if baby in their respective screen of mobile phone or tv screen, when the temperature goes above the set threshold. The solution also includes Arduino sensors like moisture sensor to maintain the hygiene of the child. The proposed system uses the cloud service for remotely monitoring the child. In future we can made additional changes to this device such like monitoring the baby in their cell phones and computer screen. Or we can charge its battery by the sun with the help of photovoltaic cells or we can add some more sensors in the machine.
