Dirasat: Human and Social Sciences

This research aims to discover the relationship between the styles of attachment for ‎children in Jordanian kindergarten and their social adjustment by using the descriptive ‎correlational method. Where the sample consisted of (130) kindergarten children, of whom (72) females and (58) males were chosen randomly. To reach ‎the goals of the study, two tools were utilized. First, the Social ‎Adjustment Scale, which consisted of 25 items. These items were answered by the children’s’ teachers. The ‎second scale is attachment patterns that included three dimensions: Secure, Insecure –‎Avoidant, and Anxiety. It consists of 20 items answered by mothers. The indications of ‎validity and reliability were achieved through testing the validity of the structure and ‎the content, and the reliability was tested by determining the Cronbach's alpha and the Split half Reliability. Every organization has ethical codes and behavioral standards suited to its professional structure that are referred to as professional ethics. Higher education is a professional system and the faculty should be aware of ethical standards of teaching considering their role in developing students and their obligation to them. Applying professional ethics in education ensures the right teachinglearning process in higher education institutions and can result in more commitment to students' needs. The aim of this review article, which is based on literature and related books and articles, is to examine the professional ethics of faculty as teachers and their role in the education and moral development of their students in view of ethical standards. In order to do this, samples of Islamic ethical issues related to the subject and some educational ethical rules of other countries have been investigated. Based on the professional ethics of teaching, teachers should pledge to ethical principles in two dimensions: firstly, they should behave decently considering their role in the students' moral development, and should be aware that the most effective method to characterize positive values in students is being actual role models. Secondly, because of the teachers' responsibility in meeting the educational needs of their students, they should have maximal commitment to ethical principles to perform professional tasks in the best way possible.

This article aims to discuss the concept of triple helix Mohammad Natsir which he often refers to as the three pillars of Muslims’ power and associate it with the idea Kampus Merdeka and Merdeka belajar to strengthen the education of religious characters at the university level. A method that uses a qualitative approach with data sourced library data. This article's result is the concept of triple helix mohamad Natsir namely the integration of education between three institutions, masjid, pesantren and campuses. Among the cooperation programs that can be done are internship programs, making humanitarian projects, teaching, and researching potential mosques or pesantren. In order for this program to run according to the plan in advance must agree on the concepts and purpose of education, agree to the integration and conversion of the curriculum, and monitoring and evaluation periodically.

The study intends to identify both the geomorphologic and hydrological characteristics of Lake Sawa regarding its water sources and the specific attributes of this water. The study focused on the impact of climate on lake surface water's physical and chemical properties. The analysis of both the data for a major climate cycle (30 years) for the period (1989-2018) and the samples taken from Lake Sawa water depth (1-5) meters proved that the climate had changed the physical and chemical properties of lake water; besides, the extensive evaporation of its water and the lack of rain precipitation in the lake raised salts ratio to 22885 (mg/liter), as well as the rates of other physical and chemical elements.

We compared the present Arabic syllabus used in Gezira University Medical School with previous ones. We also surveyed students and Arabic professors in medical sciences on their views on the content and teaching/evaluation procedures and how these contributed to students' understanding of the medical science syllabus. The current syllabus was designed to provide students with Arabic language skills with particular reference to scientific language. The students' opinions differed regarding their understanding of clinical medicine and their interaction with patients and also the benefits to them of research procedures and reporting. The professors considered the syllabus was adequate to achieve its aims but emphasized the importance of varying teaching methods and evaluation.
