Abstract

The decision-making phase of a manufacturing method entails deciding on the most appropriate technique to effectively and cost-effectively turn the beginning ingredients into final products. With the goal to maximize productivity, decrease expenses, while preserving consistent quality, it essential to consider an array of components when choosing a manufacturing process. This includes layout, substances, price, quantity, and assurance. The consequences of manufacturing process selection on product quality, economical capacity for production, the time to market, adaptability, and environmental sustainability is what gives this topic research significance. Optimizing results for a business's operations and strategic plan necessitates careful examination of multiple elements. Alternate Parameters: "Sand casting", "Gravity die casting", and "Investment casting". Evaluation Parameters: "Flexibility", "Productivity", "Accuracy" and "Complexity". For the Selection of Manufacturing Process, the best alternate parameter would be "Sand Casting". The Respective Ranks are "Sand casting" is in the 1st Rank, "Additive Manufacturing" is in the 2nd Rank, "Gravity Die casting" is in the 3rd Rank, "Pressure Die casting" is in the 4rth Rank, and "Investment Casting" is in the 5fth Rank.
