We need to store information which is linked between them, in a larger memory space. There are also some situations when we need special data structure to memorize a hierarchy, like a genealogical tree. For such cases and not only, the static data structures are not very helpful. All these disadvantages can disappear once we use the dynamic data structures. The purpose of this book is: a) to make students understand the difference between static and dynamic variables and the role of the pointer variables; b) to point out the advantages of the dynamic allocation; c) to present the different types of data structures dynamically linked (stack, queue, double-linked list, circular list, binary tree); and d) to identify the optimally solvable problems using different types of dynamic structures. Also, some basic operations and many code samples will be presented. Several images will help the reader (teacher or st...

Applying the Sensory Acuity in the Internal Communication Process of an Organization

Thus, non verbal signals issued by the respective persons are better decoded. Sensory acuity is directly dependant on the quality of the senses of the respective person. It allows both the identification of the non-verbal communication elements, but also of the language structures based on language, values and convictions. Convictions generated by causality work based on certain standards, values, convictions. Once convictions are activated, personal experiences are confirmed or refuted. Convictions are based on experiences, feelings, but they can be in conflict. Convictions, their change, are based on elements such as: abilities, values, behaviour, and context. Internal communication in the organization has the role to determine employees to become proactive, dedicated in activities, creative and innovative. On the other side, sensory acuity brings certain improvements in the internal communication process because it improves the internal communication process by eliminating communication barriers, it helps understand the element of non-verbal language and this way it achieves an optimization of this process in the organization.

The main objective considered was to develop an expert system architecture (which uses as knowledge base the data from the financial statements) and to test it on the economy (in the sense of permanent and automatic updating of accounting knowledge which is taken from the balance sheet and other accounting documents), considering this approach as a new element in the design of ES. Obviously, the ES proposed does not ignore the knowledge base, knowledge editors, inference engine and interfaces specific to any type of expert system. The knowledge base is made up of knowledge (taken from various financial statements), which is processed by the inference engine (the inference machine works with production rules).

Due to its major impact on the society thehealthcare is one of these areas that has gain a lot of attention, specially for the early diagnosis and for the personalizedtherapy of different affections. Data mining-techniques forautomate detecting of relevant patterns in databases- helpstherapists to build personalized therapy programs byidentifying and anticipating the needs and the evolution ofdifferent types of patients.

Nowadays, companies have realized the importance of human capital as a necessity for survival in today's competitive market. There are several methods for selecting staff , but this paper seeks to demonstrate that this selection can be done with the help of an expert system. Metallurgical companies face even greater challenges for managing personnel selection. This research will discover and test the key elements of management personnel selection and implementation of an expert system.

Thus, we present the main types of economic analysis: statistical analysis, dynamic analysis, static analysis, mathematical analysis, psychological analysis. Also we present the main object of the analysis: the technological activity analysis of a company, the analysis of the production costs, the economic activity analysis of a company, the analysis of equipment, the analysis of labor productivity, the analysis of the goods flow. Keywords: Economic analysis, Models, Adoption of innovation

The software generate formulas for Milstein discretizations (see [1]) of vectorial stochastic differential equations and computing simulation paths in Monte Carlo simulation processes.

Economic crises and the counter-cyclical profile of the Non-Profit Organisations: some empirical evidences from the Italian context

In this complex process, it is possible to observe that the innate propensity of the non-profit organizations to assume an ethical connotation can also be taken as a valid premise to the enunciation of the counter-cyclical profile. Following a managerial approach, the paper - which has as reference the Italian context - tries to discover and systemize the causes of empirical evidence that emerges by comparing statistical data of Italian censuses carried out in 2001 and 2011 by the Italian National Institute of Statistics (INIS). The central part of the paper - oriented to business ethics - concerns the declination of the underlying model due to the non-profit organization, while the final thought can be summarized as follows: the focused characteristics of these subjects that should also be internalized in b...

Made simpler, we propose that certain non-quantifiable components of the value of the business of an organization (the knowledge held, the amount of management applied, etc) to be captured and / or included in the structure of economic models aimed at predicting the risk of bankruptcy of companies. The basic idea of the research focuses on the synthetic analysis regarding the risk of bankruptcy of firms in terms of current realities that characterize the competitive environment of businesses at a global level. Today, the knowledge society and / or the knowledge economy has become a kind of vector of reporting for both business organizations and policy makers, opinion leaders and even every citizen. The so-called intangible assets of a...

It seeks to eliminate the generation of all possibilities in order to get the result. The Backtracking method can be applied to those problems for which the solution can be represented as a vector whose elements take values in some finite sets and who meet certain internal conditions. In the Backtracking method, the vector elements are expressed one at a time, assigning a value to a component will be done only after values have been assigned to all its previous components, and no incompatibilities exist between these values. Classical problems solved by this method are: queens’ problem, Cartesian product generation, the generation of combinations, the 0-1 knapsack problem. The book is structured into 7 chapters and provides the solutions to a number of 19 classical problems by using versions of the backtracking algorithm. Most of the paragraphs are followed by a section with solved ...

It also analyzes the main correlations and their optimizing possibilities through an efficient management. Thus, both the effect and the importance of the marketing mix, for components (the four “P-s”) are analyzed in the materials’ industry, but their correlations as well, with the goal to optimize the specific management. There are briefly presented the main correlations between the 4 marketing mix components (the 4 “P-s”) for a product within the materials’ industry, including aspects regarding specific management. Keywords: Management Model, Materials Industry, Marketing Mix, Correlations.

S. T. Bramwell, P. C. W. Holdsworth, J. F.Pinton introduced a new non-parametric distribution (calledBHP) after studying some magnetization problems in 2D. Probabilitydensity function of distribution can be aproximated as amodified GFT (Gumbel-Fisher-Tippitt) distribution.

We have analyzed the data mining methods, techniques and algorithms with their characteristics, with their advantages and weakness. Taking into account the tasks to be resolved in order to discover the different types of knowledge, the kind of databases to work on and the type of data, as well as the area for which on desire the implementation of the data mining system we have try to find a way to efficiently choose the proper methods in a given situation. ExpertDM system has the aim to find the best data mining methods for solving a task and specifying the transformation which need to be made for bringing the data at a proper form for applying these methods.
