The samples has been prepared by adding CoNO 3 and BaSO 4 .5H 2 O on the poly-vinyl alcohol with different weight percentages from CoNO 3 and BaSO 4 .5H 2 O with polymer and by different thickness. The experimental results show that, the Velocity of Ultrasonic wave, Specific Acoustic Impedance, Bulk Modulus and Compressibility change with increase the concentrations of CoNO 3 and BaSO 4 .5H 2 O.

The present study are focused on the modification of the properties of polyvinylchloride (PVC) wi... more The present study are focused on the modification of the properties of polyvinylchloride (PVC) with different additives of Zinc by preparing the composites systems with different percentages of the above additive. This work is an investigation of the effect of filler content and frequency of the applied field on dielectric properties of polyvinylchloride. Results show that the dielectric constant decreases with increasing frequency, and then increases suddenly by several order of magnitude at a critical weight concentration. The dielectric loss oscillatory with increasing frequency, increased with the tin content. The A.C electrical conductivity increases with the increase of the frequency, and then increases suddenly by several order of magnitude at a critical weight concentration.

The obtained results indicated the formation of orthorhombic [Co(NH3)5Cl]Cl2nanoparticles of ≈28.75 nm size. Polymeric films based on polyvinyl acetate (PVAc) doped with chloro penta amine cobalt(III) cloride [Co(NH3)5Cl]Cl2in different weight percent ratios were prepared using the solvent cast technique. The complexation of the additive with the polymer was confirmed by FTIR and SEM studies. The XRD pattern revealed that the amorphousicity of PVAc polymer matrix increased with raising the [Co(NH3)5Cl]Cl2content. Parameters such as extinction coefficient, refractive index, real and imaginary parts, and optical conductivity were studied by using the absorbance and measurements from computerized UV-visible spectrophotometer in the spectral range 190–800 nm. The nature of electronic transition from valence band to conduction band was determined and the energy band gaps of the composite films samples were estimated by UV-visible spectrum. It was observed that the optical conductivity increased with photon energy and with the increase of [Co(NH 3) 5 Cl]Cl 2 concentration.

The effect of tin concentration and frequency of applied electrical field on the A.C electrical properties of (PVC-Sn) composites have been investigated. The experimental results show that the dielectric constant of the (PVC-Sn) composites decreases with increasing frequency, and then increases suddenly by several order of magnitude at a critical weight concentration. The dielectric loss oscillatory with increasing frequency, increased with the tin content.
