As well as its variants and relationships with other aspects of public administration. From there, a series of conditions and alternatives for its implementation is proposed, considering different dimensions and commitments including such as: costs, regulatory, technology, organizational culture, human capital formation, among others.

From small devices to enormous satellites or industrial plants take advantage of this ongoing research. However, to the authors belief, there is still a gap to fully exploit the benefits of the theory. The cornerstone of real-time scheduling theory is the concept of task. Nevertheless, very little is mentioned about how to discover such tasks. Thus, the objective of this paper is to propose a systematic way of describing real-time tasks by means of requirements elicitation. The process begins with the gathering of user requirements through Use Case Diagrams. Then, those use cases are refined to turn them into tasks descriptions. Lastly, tasks descriptions are further refined and brought to a detailed characterization of individual execution flows. This final tasks characterization is made with Activity Diagrams. Finally, a Line-Follower System is used to exemplify the proposed approach.

Multinomial Logistic Regression of Likelihood of cycle commuting in Puerto Madryn – Analysis factor: Bikelane construction
Table with Multinomial Logistic Regression of Likelihood of commuting with factor being bikelane ... more Table with Multinomial Logistic Regression of Likelihood of commuting with factor being bikelane construction. In the experiment, the dependent variable is the likelihood of commuting and the factor is bikelane construction. As can be seen, there is a strong relation between the likelihood of commuting by bike and the availability of proper infrastructure (six out of nine cases). This would lead us to think that the saying "you build it, they use it" could be applied in Puerto Madryn.<br>The goal of multinomial logistic regression is to construct a model that explains the relationship between the explanatory variables (namely also <i>independent</i> or <i>factors</i>) and the outcome (<i>dependent)</i>, so that the outcome of a new "experiment" can be correctly predicted for a new data point for which the explanatory variables, but not the outcome, are available. It describes a three-tier organization in which components facilitate establishing an information system to assist domain experts in addressing multi-causal dynamic situations where heterogeneous information sources must be integrated and the interaction of a variety of actors must be supported in large geographical areas with possibly low or intermittent connectivity levels. The approach and envisioned framework are illustrated with a case-study in the design of bikeways in urban zones.

Some of the widely adopted estimation strategies are based on the traceability of passenger transfers. They may be effective in large cities, but fall short for trip estimation of single-routes, which are mostly the case in small-to-medium cities. We present a model to estimate the Origin-Destination Matrix, independent of transfers and passenger identification, using only boarding and alighting counts. The model is based on a system of linear diophantine equations, together with a method that computes the general solution and reduces the evaluation space, achieving useful estimations in polynomial time.

The key concept behind this discipline has to do with a strong interaction between the physical world and a computing system, which should be transparent to an external observer. Thus, it cannot be determined whether the system's behavior is due to the influence of the environment or the actions of the computing system. In this paper, a requirement analysis approach for these systems is presented. It is called 3D Approach and it is based on the well-known 4-Variable Model. The 3D Approach came out as the result of systematizing practical experiences taken from the design of a biodigester.

Huge amount of data is made available to organizations by pervasive technologies such as smart mobile devices. However, the knowledge to use such data is still missing, and organizations typically fail to exploit it. This paper proposes an architectural design that aims at addressing such problem. It focuses on knowledge management for collaborative systems in which complex and multicausal situations are presented to interacting actors on a large geographical area with possible low connectivity.
