However, this convenience comes with an inherent vulnerability to security threats, ranging from unauthorized access to eavesdropping and data breaches. This MSc final year project seeks to address this critical issue by comprehensively enhancing the security of wireless networks. The project's primary objective is to identify and mitigate security threats, develop advanced security measures, and foster a security-conscious culture within the wireless network environment. The methodology integrates threat analysis, policy development, access control, encryption, intrusion detection, user behaviour analysis, regulatory compliance, and awareness training. The expected outcomes include improved security measures, enhanced user awareness, and recommendations for securing emerging wireless technologies, ultimately fortifying the trust and reliability of wireless communication.
