What is the problem?

I have observed a small number of cases where the template search menu does not span the width of the input.

I haven't been able to work out why this is happening or necessarily how to make it happen reliably. I also find that, after seeing it if I go to a different tab (for example) and go back it no longer appears.

Steps to reproduce problem

1. https://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/w/index.php?title=TemplateUsageArticle790&action=edit
2. Open the Insert template dialog
3. In the template search input, type m and wait for results to appear
4. Once results have appeared, type a and wait for new results to appear
5. Type p
