However, Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) suffer from gradual performance degradation caused by irreversible chemical and physical changes inside their batteries. Moreover, predicting the health and remaining useful life of BEVs is difficult due to various internal and external factors. In this paper, we propose an integrated data-driven framework for accurately predicting the Remaining Useful Life (RUL) of lithium-ion batteries used in BEVs. As part of this work, we conducted a comprehensive analysis and comparison of publicly available battery datasets, providing an up-to-date list of data sources for the community. Our framework relies on a novel feature extraction strategy that accurately characterizes the battery, leading to improved RUL predictions. Feature types can be divided into three groups: initial state features, current state features, and historic state features. Experimental results indicate that the proposed method performs very well on the NASA benchmark dataset with an average accuracy of 97% on batteries that are not used during the training phase, demonstrating the ability of our framework to operate with batteries being discharged in any conditions. INDEX TERMS Battery ageing, indicators, remaining useful life, battery electric vehicle, data-driven method.

This approach is based on self organizing map (SOM) artificial neural network that processes the collected data and then only selects the strong MPRs using a set of criteria allowing a reliable retransmission and a strong link and therefore better network performances. The obtained results, from the simulations that have been carried out using a customized network simulator 3 (NS3) network simulator, show an improvement in terms of throughput, packets delivery ratio (PDR) and the security of the network compared to the standard approach.

We show how the classical solution has a quasi-cascade structure that, under a suitable input-tostate (ISS) assumption, can be stabilized by high gain, thereby making the actuators more inclined to saturate. Motivated by this, we propose a revisited version of this control law that transforms the quasi-cascade into a real cascade. Then, we show that both strategies are such that the attitude control is affected by the momentum dumping, and that they both require a suitable ISS property. To overcome these drawbacks, we propose a new allocation-based controller, which makes the attitude dynamics completely independent of the momentum dumping and induces global asymptotic stability without any ISS requirement. Several formal statements and simulation results support our discussions and highlight the pros and cons of the different control strategies.

The success of this mission could give rise of an Interplanetary DTN–Based CubeSat network, in which the CubeSat Nanosatellite, as DTN custody node, plays the role of Data Mule to collect data from rovers on a planet such as Mars. In order to maximize the contact volume which is the amount of transmitting data from rovers to the CubeSat during its pass over their service zone, we will need to design an efficient MAC protocol. This research focuses on the simulation and evaluation of the performance of the Slotted AlohaCA MAC Protocol on the planet Mars compared to Earth taking into account the different properties between the two planets, such as radius, mass and speed of rotation of the Nanosatellite in its orbital at the same altitude. We have conducted many simulations using the NS2 si...

Nevertheless, they suffer from some accuracy problems related to axis misalignment, disturbances, and deviation over time that make them unable to work autonomously for a long time. This paper will present a simple and practical calibration method using a least-squares based ellipsoid fitting method to calibrate and compensate for the error interference of the AK8963 sensor. Towards the end of this paper, a comparison between before and after the calibration is presented to study the software compensation effect and the stability of the magnetic sensor under study. The ICALAB for Image Processing method is one of the solutions proposed for the blind efficient separation of signals without prior knowledge of the source images. Nevertheless, to choose the appropriate algorithm with the most efficient separation index, several tests are carried out on a certain number of algorithms, with off-line processing of image samples bases, by means of software tools which are generally installed on a computer, such as ICALAB, TIPICA, GIFT, NMFLAB, model identification UBSS, ... Thus, in order to perform the image separation processing in real time, this study aims to develop a rapid prototyping embedded system for implementing the blind source separation concept. It mainly provides a promising approach for implementing twelve efficient blind image separation algorithms on the ZYBO Z7 FPGA board, using Xilinx System Gen...

In this sense, one of the main objectives of the work reported in this article is to provide this language with a morphosyntactic annotated corpus and a better precision system for morphosyntaxic labeling. To do this, we started by building our corpus of over 60,000 words. This was first used to carry out the lexical segmentation step. Secondly, this corpus made it possible to train the different models of machine learning and deep learning; in order to develop a part of speech (POS) tagger of amazighe language.

The object is seen by three cameras placed on an orthonormal basis (OXYZ) axes. From these projections, respective contours are extracted and then transformed into a list of chains presenting contour pixels of each projection. These chains are restructured to be used for arbitrary-object shape envelope construction. The constructed 3-D object can be viewed on the screen using perspective or parallel projections under arbitrary viewpoint angles Θ and φ A one-pixel precision is reached for recovered objects.

For the 3D reconstruction, this method uses the projection of points of interest, instead of projecting every pixel (Voxel-map method). First, an isometric projection view is produced and obtained from a set of orthographic views: Front, Top, and Right Side views. As the modified Harris detector algorithm presents very high performances using few parameters, and not requiring any threshold values, it is used for extracting points of interest for each view. The reconstruction is obtained by re-projecting the points of interest that have just been extracted from each view. At the end, the 3D-object surface is rebuilt using the intersection of points of interest in the 3D space according to the appropriate direction. Finally, for smoothing purposes, a subdivisionbased smooth representation is introduced that modifies the linear surface representation mesh.
