This study investigates the Effect of H5P Interactive Learning Videos on the learning outcomes of... more This study investigates the Effect of H5P Interactive Learning Videos on the learning outcomes of undergraduates in Woodwork Technology at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. Education, as a lifelong process of knowledge acquisition and skill development, has evolved through the integration of educational technology. H5P Interactive Learning Videos combine multimedia elements with interactivity to engage learners and promote active participation. While prior research has shown the potential benefits of such videos, their effect on woodwork technology education in Nigerian universities has remained unexplored. The research objectives are to: (1) Develop H5P Interactive Learning Videos (2) Evaluate the impact of H5P Interactive Learning Videos on academic performance among male and female woodwork technology students (3) Assess student perceptions of H5P Interactive Learning Videos in woodworking technology instruction (4) Investigate the influence of gender on undergraduate performance when using H5P Interactive Learning Videos in woodworking technology education. This study contributes to the understanding of the role of technology in enhancing education, with implications for instructional design and future research. The study concluded that H5P Interactive Learning Videos significantly improve academic performance in woodwork technology education. The substantial score increase demonstrates their effectiveness in enhancing comprehension and knowledge retention, while benefiting both male and female students.
