A number of approaches have been employed in diagnosing this disease to provide awareness to patients who may have such. Several research work have been publishes and presented to look into a management system for its diagnosis. Some crucial elements are yet missing from some of these literatures. However, few reviews have been centered on this systematically and thoroughly, that is, none have performed review systematically capturing the entire crucial elements such as diabetes type addressed, control recommendation considered, main contributions and approach strengths. This have brought about the lack of sufficiently good context of operation. In this paper, we carried out a systematic review of existing literature concerning diabetes diagnosis management system in so as to present a summarized evidences regarding the issue and background for positioning new research activities appropriately.

A number of people are getting to lose this part of their body due to late diagnosis of this disease. This therefore requires the development of an efficient and accurate diagnosis approach that will aid providing the knowledge of the type of breast cancer type and severity in order to reduce the mortality rate through the disease. This need serves as the major motivation for this work. In this paper, we proposed a fuzzy expert system for diagnosis of and treatment recommendation of breast cancer problems which provide physicians and patients with information of the cancer type and treatment recommendation. The application was designed using JAVA programming language, MATLAB and SQLite database engine. This application permits update of new information as a means of knowledge. The evaluation showed that the inclusion of the fuzzy inference system improved the accuracy and precision of the system from 0.8 to 0.9. The system is user-friendly and has high level of acceptability from the validation conducted at the end of the research.

Machine learning algorithms have aided health workers (including doctors) in the processing, anal... more Machine learning algorithms have aided health workers (including doctors) in the processing, analysis, and diagnosis of medical problems, as well as the detection of disease patterns and other patient data. Diabetes mellitus (DM), commonly referred to as diabetes, is a gathering of a syndrome issue that is portrayed by high glucose levels in the blood over a drawn-out period. It is a long-term illness that is a great threat to humanity and causes death. Most of the existing machine learning algorithms used for the classification and prediction of diabetes suffer from embodying redundant or inessential medical procedures that cause complications and wastage of time and resources. The absence of a correct diagnosis scheme, deficiency of economic means, and a general lack of awareness represent the main reasons for these negative effects. Hence, preventing the sickness altogether through early detection may doubtless cut back a considerable burden on the economy and aid the patient in diabetes management. This study developed diabetes classification using machine learning techniques that will minimize the aforementioned drawbacks in the prediction of diabetes systems. Decision tree classifiers, logistic regression, random forest, and support vector machines are all examples of predictive algorithms that were tested in this paper. 1009 records of data set were obtained from the Diabetes dataset of Abelvikas, Data World. We used a confusion matrix to visualize the performance evaluation of the classifiers. The experimental result shows that the four machine learning algorithms perform well. However, Random Forest outperforms the other three, with a prediction accuracy of 100% and has a better prediction level when compared with others and existing work.

A number of health centers have been faced with legal and reputational consequences as a result. This therefore requires the proposition of an efficient technique that can make this problem addressed most especially eHealth systems on the cloud environment as operations are currently operating with cloud services. Until such approaches are proposed, health records could be attacked and peradventure lead to poor treatment of patients due to misinformation and hence causing the death of individuals. This need serves as a key motivation for this research. In this, we proposed a new framework for detecting insider attacks in Cloud-based Healthcare system using watermarking extraction and logging detection technique. The framework was implemented using Microsoft Azure, Opennebula cloud management software emulation, PhP web scripting language, MySQL database server. The approach gave an output of the number of activities performed by users with the permission update of legal and illegal intrusion into the system using an audit trail. The approach showed high level of precision, recall and accuracy which makes it performance excellent to implement from the evaluation conducted at the end of the research

This paper presents automobile tracking system with audio surveillance using GPS and GSM Module t... more This paper presents automobile tracking system with audio surveillance using GPS and GSM Module to provide an alternative solution to security challenges experienced by car owner, and to develop a system that can track the location of vehicles. We make use of Microcontroller Unit, GPS, and GSM unit. The design is an embedded application, which will continuously monitor a moving Vehicle and report the status of the Vehicle on demand. The PIC18F452 microcontroller is interfaced serially to a GSM Modem and GPS Receiver. A GSM modem is used to send the position (Latitude and Longitude) of the vehicle from a remote place. The GPS modem will continuously give the information indicating the position of the vehicle. The GPS modem gives many parameters as the output, but only the data coming out is read and sent to the user's phone number. We use RS-232 protocol for serial communication between the modems and the microcontroller. A serial driver IC is used for converting TTL voltage levels to RS-232 voltage levels. When the request by user is sent to the number in the modem, the system automatically sends a return reply to the mobile phone indicating the position of the vehicle in terms of latitude and longitude from this information we can track our vehicles.

In literature, conventional traffic model does not capture today’s burstiness in Internet traffic with the assumption that inter-arrival time is independent and identically distributed. The Internet forwarding scheme has given provision for correlated inter-arrival times which are rampant when streams of packets arrive to a destination at the same time.
