The analy sis was per formed on HPLC (Shi madzu) ap pa ra tus with di ode ar ray de tec tor. The sepa ra tion was pro vided with C18 col umn (4.6mm×100 mm, 3 μm par ti cle size) at mo bile phase flow rate 1ml/min and de tec tion at 254 nm. The method was tested in the range 50-150% nomi nal DOXY con cen tra tion re sult ing good line ar ity with cor re la tion co ef fi cient r=0.9999. The es ti mated LOD and LOQ elabo rated method amounted to 0.46 and 1.55 mg/L. The re cov ery val ues were from 99.70 to 100.9% with RSD 0.78%. It was con firmed that the rea gents used for test ing of sam ples and sol vents do not in ter fere with the ac tive sub stance. Moreo ver, the sig nifi cant in flu ence of tem pera ture and flow rate on the re ten tion time was as cer tained. The car ried out re search dem on strates that the method is vali dated and the ob tained re sults are ac cu rate and re produci ble. The elabo rated method can be suit able to rou tine analy sis in qual ity con trol labo ra tory.

Proposed systems were characterised by linearity range 5-100 mg/L with R 2 in all cases were higher than 0.999. The elaborated method was tested on pharmaceutical preparations. The recovery values were from 96.5% to 101.3%. The proposed isotachophoretic method is simple with acceptable precision and accuracy and can be suitable for routine analysis of studied biological active compounds.

The feature of such substituted polymers is lower conductivity in comparison with the initial polymer. Modified P3ATs remain semiconducting in character. The nitration and chlorination of P3ATs take place mainly in the 4-position of the thiophene ring. The rates of both processes increase with an increase in the chain length of the alkyl side group.

Analogous NMR measurements were performed for the new (bqnH +) 2 (AuCl 4-)Clsalt, studied also by single crystal X-ray diffraction. All compounds exhibited fluorescence.

Purine alkaloids were found in majority of samples; however, isoquinoline alkaloids were less abundant than indole. The predominant alkaloids appear to be caffeine (purine group), harman (indole group) and berberine (isoquinoline). Examined medicinal plants and dietary supplements were contaminated by mycotoxins (especially ochratoxin A 1.72-5.83 lg kg-1), and many species of mold (e.g. Cladosporium, Eurotium, Aspergillus, Rhizopus, Penicillium). MTT cytotoxicity tests revealed that plant and supplements extracts exhibited medium or high cytotoxicity (only Dong quai-low). Moreover, antioxidant activity, total phenolics content and selected phytochemicals were analyzed by spectrophotometric and chromatographic methods. Quercetin and rutin were predominant flavonols (1.94-9.51 and 2.20-7.28 mg 100 g-1 , respectively). Analysis of phenolic acids revealed-gallic acid, as the most abundant, except Panax ginseng, where ferulic acid was prevailing. The results were analyzed by chemometric methods (cluster analysis, ANOVA).
