There is a dearth of studies that have examined the influence of Emotional Intelligence (EI) on employee well-being, creativity and employee engagement among employees engaged in projects. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between Emotional Intelligence and three independent variables, which were Employee Well-Being, Creativity and Employee Engagement. In this quantitative study, the target population was members of project teams. This was a cross-sectional study, and data were collected using a survey strategy. The primary data was collected by using self-administered questionnaires. Based on a sample size of 101 respondents, the data analysis was done by using the SPSS tool. The findings revealed that EI had a strong impact on all three predictors, namely employee well-being, creativity, and engagement. The results of this study will provide useful information to HR managers and leaders in organizations. To the best of the author's knowledge, this study is the first of its kind in Malaysia.

Thus, collaboration and resilience are basic characteristics that can help any organization surmount unpredictably challenging situations, and even thrive in the process. A systematic review was used in which relevant theories were examined in line with this objective. It was found that; cultivating, developing, and refining collaborative efforts in organizational leadership, employee-employer relationships, and organizational success are key factors in the pursuit and actualization of predetermined organizational objectives. This outcome demonstrates that leading successfully in an unpredictable and change-prone environment is a huge task. Hence, for organizational leadership to survive and thrive, it has to develop the capacity to be adaptive, swiftly recover from setbacks, maintain relatively stable and functional health, and harness all its resources to remain in business. Therefore, an organization that collaborates on several fronts will create a resilient spirit to face and surmount unpredictably challenging situations if/when they arise. Thus, organizations that intend to succeed in this regard must promote cohesion, diversity, interdependence, inclusion, and social support through enthusiastic and enterprising capabilities.

The mediating role of perceived organizational support was also examined. In this quantitative research, data was collected using a survey method. The study population were Generation Y employees in the banking sector in Malaysia. Random sampling was used to collect data from 470 respondents. Self-administered questionnaires were delivered by hand. Structural equation modelling was used to test the relationships. The findings revealed that Gen Y employees' social needs were positively related to their intention to stay. It was found that perceived organizational support mediated the relationship between the two constructs. The findings presented new insights into how Gen Y employees social needs can contribute to improving their intention to stay in the banking sector. Given the paucity of research in the context of the role of social needs and perceived organizational support, this study provides an understanding to organizations on the influence of social needs and perceived organizational support in improving retention of Gen Y employees.

This study explored the impact of working remotely on Malaysian millennials' wellbeing (EWB) and the perceived expectations of millennials towards achieving better EWB in Malaysia. Based on the beliefs and assumptions of the researcher, the appropriate philosophy was interpretivism. In this exploratory study, an inductive approach was more appropriate. In this basic qualitative study, in-depth semi-structured interviews were utilized to gather information from nine millennials currently working remotely in Malaysia. The data collected was transcribed, and thematic analysis was done manually to do coding and identification of themes. The first question was to explore the antecedents of EWE experienced by millennials. The themes that emerged encompass workplace transparency, health and wellness programs, outcomeoriented culture, transformational leadership, and workplace relationship. The second research question was to explore the barriers that obstruct EWB. The barriers originating from this study include role conflict, remote working, lack of career advancement, work overload, and workplace conflict. The third research question was to explore the perceived expectations of millennials towards achieving better EWB. The themes include personalized career development plans, fair reward systems, hybrid working arrangements, and team harmony. The themes that emerged from this study could be used to develop a wide-scale survey of employees working remotely. The finding in this study has delivered an in-depth understanding of the context of the current millennial working experience and perception regarding EWB in Malaysia. Several themes identified in this study can be used to improve the effectiveness of millennials working remotely.

There is a dearth of studies that have examined the association between the sub-dimensions of emotional intelligence and job performance in a developing country. This study will address this gap in conceptual research. This was a quantitative study that adopted a positivist philosophy. The participants were employees in the banking sector in Djibouti. Data was collected from 121 respondents. Multiple regression analysis was done to test the hypothesis. This study revealed that the self-awareness and self-management dimensions of emotional intelligence had a positive and significant relationship with performance. However, social awareness and relationship management had an insignificant relationship with job performance. The results of this study provided insights to policymakers for effective job performance. This paper provides an understanding on the sub-dimensions of emotional intelligence and their influence on employee performance.

This study used a cross-sectional survey to collect primary data. The target population was generation Y employees working in the banking sector in Malaysia. Data was collected from 470 respondents, where a total of 230 respondents were males and 240 were females. Results from this study revealed that learning needs have a positive effect on the intention to stay by generation Y employees in the banking sector. In addition, perceived organizational support (POS) mediated the relationship between POS and intention to stay. The results confirmed that an increase in the learning needs of generation Y employees would increase their intention to stay. The study revealed that greater attention must be given to learning needs by organizational leaders and policymakers. This study contributes to the literature in human resource practices pertaining to learning needs as a critical intervention by organizations to increase the intention to stay by generation Y employees. The study is one of the first of its kind to address learning needs and the mediating role of perceived organizational support (POS) in the context of Gen Y's intention to stay in the banking sector in Malaysia.
