These multi-agent systems evolve through the behavior of different entities within their environment. Given the importance of the interaction between the agents in the evolution and multi-agent system stability, we are interested in this paper to achieve target by developing a formal model of coordination between agents for managing their communications. The formal model Established uses the formalism of Petri Net agents. The resulting model can be validated with an example of coordination between robots.

In this sense, shipping has been expanding during the last 30 years and it is expected that worldwide traffic of containers (134 millions in 2009) would reach 210 millions of containers by 2015. This article deals with the simulation of mobile ship while loading and unloading containers from a port of origin to a destination port after crossing other ports. We present a cooperation agents based solution in order to resolve this problem. Indeed our study extends from local migration process, in one single port, to cope with the process of migration between multiple ports. In this way, we minimize total running time of this process. Therefore, we implement a management system of shipping (MSS) in order to simulate the problem already mentioned.

This paper belongs to the domain of the engineering of the Petri Net (PN) and Multi agent Systems... more This paper belongs to the domain of the engineering of the Petri Net (PN) and Multi agent Systems (MAS). It aims to defining a new formalism for the modeling of MAS. This formalism is based on agents called Agent Petri Nets (APN). That's why, the definitions that manipulate the internal state of the agent and its behavior are proposed. Indeed, the other formalisms are no more capable of modeling the systems of large size and the interaction between the entities that compose them. The proposed mathematical definitions help us in modeling rigorously and without ambiguity the interactive systems. So, the proposed model describes in a quite natural way the MAS. To validate our approach, we will deal with simple examples.

In this paper, we integrate the Ferber and Muller’s Influence/Reaction model in Agent Petri Nets (APN) to model migration mobile agents. This model clarifies the migration process of agent from an environment to another and enhances its capacity for formal verification.

De nombreuses solutions ont été proposées pour remédier aux problèmes de communication, de coordination et d'interaction entre les Agents. Cependant, il n'existe aucune en mesure de traiter, à la fois les aspects structurels et comportementaux, du moins à notre connaissance. La thèse s'intéresse à la problématique de modélisation formelle et de vérification automatique et semi-automatique de propriétés pour les Systèmes Multi Agents. Plus précisément, l'objectif consiste à proposer un nouveau modèle formel original basé sur les réseaux de Petri, les Réseaux de Petri à Agents (RdPA), qui permettent d'exprimer de manière consistante et plus précise les systèmes Multi Agents. Il s'intéresse de plus à l'extension de ce modèle aux fins de modéliser la migration des Agents dans le cadre des systèmes à Agents mobiles. Cette classe de modèle permet de s'intéresser à la vérification formelle de propriétés classiques comme notamment la vivacité ou l'absence d'interblocage dans le cadre des Systèmes Multi-Agent.

Indeed, an agent approach requires a powerful and expressive formalism that allows him to model the behavior of a set of agents that interact. We are modeling some variants of FIPA standard protocols. Our Models are found based on communicating cognitive agents. Each Agent is capable of perceiving their environment partly and building, sending and receiving messages.

The suggested mathematical definitions help us to model the interactive systems in a rigorous manner and without any ambiguity. It is through simple examples that our approach is proven to be valid.

Our model based a PN is able to describe not only not the internal state of each agent modeled but also its behavior. Owing to these features, one can model naturally the dynamic behavior of complex systems and the communication between these entities. For this, we propose mathematical definitions attached to firing transitions. To validate our contribution, we will deal with real examples.
