With estimates ranging from 30% to 40%, addressing noncommunicable disease risk factors, such as ... more With estimates ranging from 30% to 40%, addressing noncommunicable disease risk factors, such as cancer, industrialized countries has the potential to considerably lower premature mortality. The need to battle climate change has also become more urgent, with recent accords calling for a 45% decrease in CO2 emissions by 2030 and the achievement of net-zero emissions by 2050. The current article shows how cancer prevention and mitigating climate change may work well together. The power of this approach's capacity to produce both short-term climate improvements and long-term health benefits through well-coordinated intersectoral policies. A growing body of evidence indicates that several variables, including environmental factors, affect cancer. Extreme weather conditions and rising global temperatures have increased exposure to environmental carcinogens and lowered air and water quality. Higher cancer risks can result from discharging pollutants and harmful materials into the environment. In addition, skin cancer occurrences have been related to varying weather patterns and continuous exposure to UV light. In addition to producing dietary imbalances and reducing the availability of nutrient-dense food, climate change has also disturbed ecosystems, which may be another factor in cancer development. In addition to the effects of climate change, alcohol, and cigarette use continue to be major contributors to the rise in cancer cases in recent years. Smoking tobacco is a significant risk factor for lung cancer and has been related to many other cancers, such as the mouth, throat, oesophagus, and bladder. Similarly, drinking too much alcohol raises your chance of getting many cancers, including those of the liver, breast, colon, and oesophagus. Alcohol and cigarette usage together can increase the chance of developing cancer. This review focuses on environmental carcinogens, the processing of food, an epidemic of skin cancer, photocarcinogenesis, global warming, air pollution, and methods of mitigating cancer.

The influence of sugar on health is a subject of debate, especially in light of increasing apprehensions over diabetes and obesity. In the 21st century, a growing number of individuals opt for low-calorie, artificially sweetened items to control their weight and blood glucose levels due to increasing health awareness. Although widely used, artificial sweeteners are controversial because of their safety and effectiveness concerns. According to reports, these medications may have adverse effects such as headaches, weight gain, and organ malfunction, which raises concerns about their prolonged usage. Conversely, sweeteners derived from natural sources, such as stevia, are seen as being more secure. While the FDA has approved some artificial sweeteners, there is still ongoing dispute regarding their metabolic consequences. Hence, customers had to select between synthetic and organic sweeteners meticulously. The early published reviews of the "Artificial Sweeteners" were deficient in extensive long-term human investigations, mainly depended on animal research, neglected to analyze different types of sweeteners, and disregarded confounding factors such as food and lifestyle. This review aims to acquire information regarding the various types of available sweeteners, their composition, their impact on human health, and a thorough comparison between natural and artificial sweeteners. This review aims to assist readers in developing a healthy diet plan and making informed choices when using products that contain sweeteners.

For this seminal fluid of 273 human subjects (110 non-users of mobile phone and 163 different dur... more For this seminal fluid of 273 human subjects (110 non-users of mobile phone and 163 different duration mobile phone users) of 19-45 years of age group were analyzed manually as per WHO (2003) protocol. Results indicated a highly significant (p<0.001) increased in acid phosphatase activity while (p<0.001) increased the level of alkaline phosphatase activity in seminal fluid of mobile phone users (using more than 5-10 years) in comparison to non-users were observed. Such findings might be an indication of adverse biological responses of mobile phone frequency on human reproduction and reproductive system which makes human population infertile and creates another risk factor for various pathological conditions (like cancer). A further standardized study is needed to assess the risk of mobile phone use on the reproductive system.

Therefore, in this context, an investigation has been proposed to estimate total protein in the seminal fluid of different duration mobile phone users and non-user human subjects to assess its hazardous effect on reproduction. For this, 90 human subjects(17 non-users and 73 users) of age group 19-35 years were employed. I observed a direct relationship between total protein in the seminal fluid and duration of mobile phone usage. The total protein decreased as increased the duration of mobile phone usage. On the basis of the above findings, I may speculate that mobile phone may negatively affect on total protein in the semen and cause male infertility. Further, long-term studies are needed to evaluate the risk of mobile phone and to find remedial measures.

A recent report by TRAI, as on dated 30th September 2018, the overall telecom subscriber base has reached 1191.40 million populations. The biological responses of such exposure enhance mitochondrial reactive oxygen generation by human spermatozoa, decreasing its motility and vitality while stimulating DNA-base adduct formation and ultimately sperm-DNA fragmentation. For this seminal fluid of 70 young adult healthy male subjects (15 never used mobile phones and 55 mobile phone users) of 19-35 years of age group were employed and Immature DNA was estimated by the method of Taraquem et al., 1983. The result showed that a highly significant (p <0.001) increased in immature DNA were observed in human subjects using mobile phones since 10 years or more than 10 years in comparison to non-users human subjects. A further standardized study is needed to assess the risk of mobile phone use on the reproductive system.
