Therefore, the main objective of this study is to examine an integrated and comprehensive moderation-cum-mediation model that focuses on user intention to adopt e-learning. Self-efficacy, interaction, and e-learning contents were taken as the independent constructs. User satisfaction and user intention were taken as dependent constructs. Enjoyment and choice were taken as moderators. “Choice” was explicitly used in this study as a moderator to test whether the transition was by force or choice. Five hundred and sixty-two teachers and students from two countries, India and Saudi Arabia, were considered for this study. The findings indicate that self-efficacy and interaction augment user satisfaction and user intention. User satisfaction enhances user intention. It also mediates the relationship between self-efficacy, interaction, and user intention. Choice moderates the relati...

The results indicated that students use widely different MALL software for different applications. In a survey of 581 students from Indian colleges and universities, the research identified five antecedent factors (namely, individual desire and motives, perceived ease of use, technological factors, social influence, and perceived usefulness) which influenced students in the areas of adopting MALL software, students’ readiness, students’ motivation, and the subsequent effect on student performances. The research further indicated that students’ readiness and their motivation level mediated the relationship between factors of adoption of MALL and perceived outcome. The relevance of positive language learning outcomes, theoretical contribution and managerial implications of the study are discussed.

Nanoemulsions were prepared by aqueous phase titration method, using sefsol, tween 20, transcutol P, and distilled water as the oil phase, surfactant, co surfactant and aqueous phase, respectively. Selected formulations were subjected to physical stability studies and consequently in vitro skin permeation studies. A surface study of optimized formulation was done by transmission electron microscopy. In vivo anti-inflammatory, In vivo irritation study and In vivo nickel induced contact dermatitis activity were done. The droplet size of nanoemulsion ranged from 150 to 200 nm. The optimized formulation exhibited viscosity 26.95 ± 1.71mP, refractive index 1.431, pH 6.5, and conductivity 10-4 sc...

Approach: IRDA is an act that came into existence in 1999, intending to protect and shield the interests of all policyholders in India. It additionally contributes to commercial development and work. In the post advancement period, it has opened to the private players. With numerous players in the business, the insurance administrative and improvement expert accompanied inventive and helpful rules for the two items and administrations. Innovation and speculation learning was the way to progress in the insurance sector. Methodology: The theme of this paper is descriptive, and researchers used an in-depth analysis of the growth and development of the Indian insurance sector. Findings: The results based on secondary data as well as various reports authenticated by IRD...

The aim of the present study was to ascertain patterns of prescription of oral hypoglycemic agents to type 2 diabetic patients attending a university hospital, and to assess patient compliance. A prospective, observational and non-comparative study was conducted in 200 established diabetes mellitus type 2 patients attending outpatient department at Majeedia Hospital, New Delhi, India. Prescriptions from registered patients were included in the study. Once the consultation by the physician was over, the prescriptions were reviewed and the patients were interviewed. The information was collected in an inhouse designed documentation proforma. In a pool of 200 type 2 diabetics, more than half were female (n = 106, 53%). The mean age of the patients were found to be 50.4 ± 11.7 years and mean body mass index, 25.8 ± 4.4 kg/m 2. A total of 432 oral hypoglycemic agents were prescribed to the patients. Highly significant number of patients was prescribed combination therapy, (n = 143, 71.5%) as compared to monotherapy (n = 57, 28.5%), p-value < 0.0001. Biguanides were the most commonly prescribed class of oral hypoglycemic agents, followed by sulphonylureas, thiazolidinediones and alpha-glucosidase inhibitors. Good compliance was seen in only 77.5% of the patients. Metformin was found to be the most commonly prescribed medicine.

The prevailing pandemic forced all the stakeholders to avoid physical contact and go virtual. LMS (learning management system) platforms came to the rescue. This study focuses on the various features of an LMS already in use and suggests a few essential elements an LMS should have to be chosen by the stakeholders. To do the same, a systematic literature review (SLR) approach is undertaken. A total of 102 studies are considered for preliminary scrutiny. Finally, 51 literary works are included after screening out other research works. As per the SLR, the study is divided into five major themes: functionality, compatibility, portability, satisfaction, and digital transformation. After exploring the gaps based on a detailed discussion, this study concludes with a prescription of essential features to be included in a futuristic LMS. This study is original in nature and provides a vast compilation of relevant literature that might...
